I have dealt with many SAs from all three locations in Toronto. Some are good and some are bad. Unfortunately I did end up having a couple bad shopping experiences and now I'm hesitated to make my next purchase. I find they are really harsh when u try to make an exchange or return even there's a clear defect.

According to them, stained leather is normal since 'it is untreated', uneven/skipped/doubled stitches is normal since 'it is hand made'...they should think twice before they make that comment cuz that's like saying 'this is the quality of LV, what do u expect?!' well obviously I expect more.

I HEAR YOU! this is unacceptable and why I am no longer buying LV, will cherish what I currently have thou but wont return. Unfortunately the SA's are horrible and unprofessional at yorkdale in my experience, and im so happy joe is gone (tall guy with pony tail and attitude problem). I like to know a company stands 100% behind their products, and that if there is a defect they arent going to hassle me if I need to exchange something! who needs the stress, this is why we buy high end, to have a pleasant shopping experience and know we are buying something of quality, that has good quality control.

Has anyone had any experiences with the SA's in Vancouver? Either the one on Burrard or in HR? I'm going to be making my first LV purchase soon (DE Speedy 25 or 30) and would like to know anyone else's experiences in these stores?

Either way, an SA's job is to assist people with their knowledge of the products. Whether you're there to buy something or just looking around. Especially when the products come with such a high price tag, you should be getting exponential service. It's like going to a high end restaurant, you expect more than just you're average joint. Of course, I can understand them being unfriendly if a customer is being rude to them. It might get frustrating for some of them because a lot of people just go into LV to "gasp at prices", with absolutely no intention to ever buy any products. Do LV SA's make commission? But again, I definitely think if you're in the store to make a purchase, you should get impeccable service. They have absolutely no reason to be rude, and if they are then they should find a different profession.

Had my first yorkdale LV experience when I bought two luggage tags. Apparently they aren't expensive enough to warrant good service because the girl who checked me out literally did not speak to me other than to tell me the total. After I paid I stood waiting for her to say "thanks have a great night "or something like I usually get at other places but she just looked at me and then began organizing something under the desk.

The girl was totally awful and a major b***h.

I've always known the service at the yorkdale location was bad but I never knew it be this bad. I just opened my brand new wrapped up lv wallet. I opened it and the s.a that wrapped the wallet stuffed it into a wallet box that DID NOT fit and a dust bag that did not fit!!!! One side of the wallet was bent and another corner was bent.as well!!! I was furious when i saw it. I tried to get rid of the creases and all but i wasnt able to get rid of the one on the flap!!! I dont know wth the s.a was thinking when he was wrapping it. Like hello??? The wallet doesnt fit so why om earth would you try to stuff it in there!!! I just spent a grand on this walllet and this is the kind of crap i get from this s.a!!! Im going to go back tomorrow to exchange it!! Im still in shock and never ever going back to this s.a again!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh no, sorry to hear you had a bad experience. I'm planning to make my first purchase this week; now I'm worried since I'm planning to go to the LV at Yorkdale. Who was the SA?

Oh that's horrible! I can't believe he did that! I would be interested in knowing the name too of this SA too. I shop at the yorkdale location sometimes. Hope you get a new wallet! And you should definitely speak to a manager

I was able to exchange the wallet without any problems. I spoke to the manager when I got there and explained to her what had happened. She was in shock as well when she saw the wallet. She looked for the s.a's name on the receipt and told me that the guy that helped me was new and she would give me a new one. She was friendly and handled the situation pretty well. I was hoping the s.a that helped me the day before would've been there today, but he wasn't. At least now I'll know to avoid him like a plague!

agree! the girls are soo rude there, i went to returned a bag my husband got me the day before at 4pm i was there sat at 10am...they were inspecting the bag and they said it had a stain. at first i wanted to exchance it for a neverfull ..than i said you know what screw it, they are not getting commission from me..i raised my voice and said and told them is impossible to have damage it in a few hours it hasn't even been 24hrs.( i asked if they had checked the bag before selling it and they couldn't answer me ..i said they didn't do an inspection on front of my husband therefore the stain could have been there..at the end they cleaned off the mark..worst experience ever at that store..everytime i go is the same thing.

I second this, the service was so depressing. Regret buying from there. As a fourteen year old buying my first own bag, I expected it to be a great experience and was so excited. They ruined the experience. Thank god my aunt lifted my spirits and I left with an amazing bag and walllet. I'm glad to hear you got a great wallet though. Enjoy :)
