My cousin and I saw Joe at HR on Bloor Street about three weeks ago and he smiled and said 'hi' even though I don't think he was actually working (he was dressed in jeans and a casual shirt). I remember when my cousin and I bought our Neverfull MM the SA (I can't remember his name but he was asian) was extremely helpful and brought out six different Neverfull's for us to check out since he said sometimes the stitching might be bad and something about how some can say 'made in China' and some say 'made in France.' He was extremely patient and checked each bag with us and found one of the bags where the stitching was not that great so he put it away. I have had unpleasant SA help me with my purchases once but I just know never to go to him again. Yorkdale LV is the most accessible to me so I just remember who the pleasant SA's are and go to them :)

I purchased the speedy 25 mono in the bandouliere bag recently...the first time i entered the store, no one approached me so i went and found an idling s.a. at the corner and ask him if i could look at the sizes. I wanted to see if they had one made in france and he told me that he could check for me, all of them were made in the usa. So, i asked if the other locations may have it and he wasn't very helpful with any information at all. Overall, he was giving me short answers to all my questions which turned me off and so i told him that i would think about it. I left the store and was walking around the mall, considering whether i should just get it because this is the bag i wanted for some time now. I ended up just going back into the store and purchasing the 25, I used him again because he seem to be the only one available. I actually wanted to see if there was another helpful sa available but unfortunately I got stuck with him. Ive been to this location before and I forgot this one asian girl's name and she was SUPER HELPFUL, i will never forget how helpful she was...i was going to go back and purchase the bag from her but someone has mentioned that she moved up and works for H.R. (well deserved, because she was awesome). The sales associate's name is Albert, short asian guy...really awful customer service!!

In the past I have been dealing with Janet (Leather Manager Goods) and she's been always very friendly and helpful. Been a while since I last bought from that store/her so I hope she is still around. :smile1:

Last time I was in LV Yorkdale was in July and the security guard saw me standing and waiting and he came up to me and said "I will find someone to help you" lol.

I ended up speaking with the Indian girl who has the English accent, I can't remember her name but she was really nice! I've seen her in there before helping out other people and she seems really friendly.

Hello tpf! I am new on here (I've been lurking for a couple years) and have decided to finally join in on all the lovely threads! After much research at which location I wanted to purchase my first LV piece from, I decided to go to the Yorkdale LV first. I figured if I did not recieve good service there, I would just make my way down to the other LVs on Bloor. I was approached almost immediately by Dana (Dena?), a very nice Asian woman. I knew what I wanted and I felt as though doing research definitely helped in the process. She did not hesitate to answer any questions I had and in the end I purchased the last Mono ZCP they had in stock. It was perfect. Actually, she was probably more excited for my first purchase than I was lol.

I enjoyed the experience and the very next week, I made sure she was working and I purchased the Vernis ZCP in Amarante. I was curious about the other styles and colors of items and before I could ask, she was pulling out all these lovely items for me to see and hold. She gave me some history on each of the pieces and shared some person insight on the brand. I noted that there were many Asian SAs in the store, and she replied by saying that `many` of their customers were Asian and went on to tell me about her experiences in Hong Kong. She also told me that the Yorkdale location was the busiest. All in all, I think it really helps to find someone you like and stick with them. I think it'll pay off down the road =D.

I have dealt with many SAs from all three locations in Toronto. Some are good and some are bad. Unfortunately I did end up having a couple bad shopping experiences and now I'm hesitated to make my next purchase. I find they are really harsh when u try to make an exchange or return even there's a clear defect.

According to them, stained leather is normal since 'it is untreated', uneven/skipped/doubled stitches is normal since 'it is hand made'...they should think twice before they make that comment cuz that's like saying 'this is the quality of LV, what do u expect?!' well obviously I expect more.

I have never ever received rude service at Yorkdale LV. The few times I've been in the SA's were wonderful. Even the times I didn't make a purchase.
My last SA was especially nice and was joking around with my fiance. He was in training and although didn't seem to know about the new cloth tags, was fantastic. I will definitely make my next purchase from him. When he went to box my purse I had another SA wanting to show me another bag. Lol
I will not hesitate to continue shopping at Yorkdale LV. :)

Am I missing something here? If I'm the one coming into the store to purchase something, that means I'M THE ONE WITH THE MONEY! If you are the one standing behind the counter, that means YOU AREN'T THE ONE WITH THE MONEY and your JOB is to assist those with the money!
Where do SA's at any store get off being rude to customers? First of all, they don't who I am or what my connections are or how much I'm worth.
I don't have a problem putting a rude SA, ever so gently in their place.:nono:
I'm not spending that kind of money to be treated like XXXX by an SA.

I've had good experiences at the LV Yorkdale location so far. It's always busy so most of the time I have to wait for an available SA. While waiting, I observe the SAs to see who seems to be nice and approachable etc. The Asian SAs and Indian SA were really nice when it was my turn. No offence, there was this Caucasian female and male SA who walks around and ignores your presence. They act really snobby looking. Of course, I don't ask them for help since knowing I won't be treated as a customer. When my SA was boxing my purchase, I was just waiting by the counter...several SAs asked me if I was taken care of. That was nice customer service!
