You destroyed the bag, it's not the company's fault. You make me think about Ross in Friends who destroyed the sofa in the stairs and comes back to the shop saying he's not happy with quality.

A "feeling" can't prove/discredit the durability of the canvas. It's just a mere preference. If there's any problem with it in the future, I'm sure LV will take care of it.

[emoji106]. As a long time buyer and member here, I find the canvas and “is this normal threads” most of the time bizarre. I do not recall this paranoia when tpf first started.

Lol. I don't believe "thin-canvas-gate" is real, but people believe in the strangest things without proof. I think it is more like what was opined last time this was all the rage... 'RND is a given, so it is more likely that the canvas has improved in flexibility to cope with the needs of the modern world'. I think what people are sick of is the posting of issues that are not real, as in unsubstantiated, and then it becomes an tpf epidemic so to speak. Thinner feeling canvas does not equate to poor quality.

I had 2 Damier bastille messenger bags back in the day. One from 2003 and one from 2008 and the latter had a very noticeable decrease in thickness. I was shocked when I compared them. 2008 I also got a very thin keepall.
