I have bought a keepall mono a month ago, and never used it, but I have spotted few signs of cracking/peeling of canvas, not sure what casue it,
From your photos, it looks like a scratch or, maybe, glue residue (which is easy to remove). If the bag is fairly new, LV may just proceed with an exchange to resolve this quickly. However, if it is indeed a scratch, then you might face more trouble.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I tried to use baby wipe but it doesn’t go away.

I didn’t use this bag, so am not sure if it is scratch. There is no scratch mark on the canvas but just the color fading. :(

It's hard to tell from photos honestly. As others have suggested, you can always return to LV, they are great about exchanging an item if something is not quite right with it.

Planning to buy my wife her first LV. I watched several videos on youtube and these reviewers seem to 'abuse' their bags and not baby-ing it and it still looks new after a year or so.

So what do you suggest?

I would suggest getting one of the canvas bags as these are generally more dureable compared to leather ones. I don’t know what kind of bag she prefers in general and how tall she is. Maybe getting a speedy bandouliere (25/30 are the most preferred sizes when she is of an average lenght) is a smart choice as it can be worn in multiple different ways and the strap can be detatched. When choosing the type of canvas I would go for the classic monogram or damier ebene canvas. Damier ebene is more care free as it can be used when it is raining etc. The classic monogram has the vachetta leather handles and strap which makes it easier to get water stains.
I hope this helps.

I second the speedy b. If she wants to use it as a crossbody bag, then definitely the speedy b 25. This size looks the best crossbody. My opinion. Almost everyone loves this bag and there are many different ways to wear it.

Yeah thats my first choice. My worry is that she doesnt really change her bag often as she has 4 bags but only use 1 or 2. I hope the speedy b becomes her fave and wear it often
then maybe you could let her go buy it instead of you buying it. That's what I would prefer especially comes to an expensive handbag.

and I have seen people had to resell their bags at a great loss because the husbands bought the wrong kind of LV bags.

I agree. Handbags are so personal and what one likes another may not. Take her to the store and let her choose. She’ll have such a special memory of the purchase. Go to a boutique and after the purchase ask for the champagne to celebrate. Take some pics and what a great day she’ll have. My recommendation!!!!

Wait... people ask for Champagne??? I would never ask for Champagne unless my SA offers...
Once, I had a client at BV who requested coffee in the middle a handbag sale, as if he was suddenly magically transported to a Starbucks. Of course, I obliged and made him an espresso... but it was so weird! All I could think of was "I did not offer you anything!!!".

Some people aren't ashamed of anything.

Haha funny. I have never asked as my husband and I do not drink, but when we purchased my handbag last year it was offered to us. We declined but the offer was certainly a nice one. Our SA was so sweet it made for a memorable experience. It doesn’t take much for SA to be nice and makes the buying experience pleasurable.

I’ve heard from my SA that some clients will bring friends and family over for “free” champagne while they shop (and not buy). Same with coffee. Such a waste of time for the poor SA.

There are very tacky people out there lol.
