LV needs to focus on Quality NOT Quantity ... like in the good old days :-) :-)

Bummer! I got the same wallet and just had to return it yesterday because of quality issue as well. I don't think I'm going to be getting any more LV for a while. This experience has made the brand very off-putting for me.

All these quality issues are so common theses days, it makes buying LV disappointing. I'm a huge LV lover and purchaser but enough is enough.

Hi Jason,
I just noticed the same on the handles of my Speedy 25B which was bought in October 2016 and was made in August (week 33) 2016.
Did yours look the same?

The strange thing is, it's only on one handle. The other looks normal.

Same here, I order more than I should online and it always come in the lv cardboard box with stuffing and my stuff in a box heavily sealed. A few times exterior of box was banged up, but that was ups

YES!!! It was just like that! Does it feel like if you get peckish you can peel it off in one piece? i.e. it is not flaking off in chunks. Mine occurred on only one handle but towards the end (like as time progressed) the other handle started 'peeling' off in one piece as well. I have attached an image of mine. That was when I FIRST observed it happening. It's very hard to see, but if you look under the pad of my mum's finger you can see it rising somewhat (sorry bad quality iPhone 5s camera here). When you run your finger over it, you can feel the glazing 'rise up' in one piece and seperate from the handles. I apologise in advance if what I am saying doesn't make sense, but honestly, it is very hard for me to describe... every single time I think back I always scratch my head.

ps. From what I remember the date code of the defective bag was _ _ 2156 so 25th week of 2016... My new Speedy's date code is DU4176 (MIF)

Yes, my handles are like that too. Wondering whether it's the side of handle against the body when wearing cross body? I have been wrapping my handles up since saw that to prevent them getting worse.

I went to pick up the repair and went to pick up the zipper repair and I was found with this ****! is already the second that I do, the first I sold an exhibition lv, obviously change it for a new one!IMG_1505998001.603994.jpg

I spend a lot of time on the Chanel forum these days and though I am new to Chanel, they complain of the same issues over there. Prices soar while qualify declines. I agree that the LV canvas is thinner now than it used to be 13 years ago when I first started collecting. Workmanship seems to have gone down across the board!

I have bought a keepall mono a month ago, and never used it, but I have spotted few signs of cracking/peeling of canvas, not sure what casue it, :sad:

But the vvn leather started patina, i will go to the store tomorrow to see what they can do for it.

but is it a peeling or scratch? i am quite new to LV :(

IMG_1509280787.440116.jpg second part of zipper change, after invirane to have appointment and invite me to a glass of champagne for my birthday, I told them to change the zipper again, in 10 minutes I had it changed. [emoji4]
