Buy a replacement strap - about 300 bucks. What ever was spilled on it was a doosy. . .
I wouldn't even notice that once the patina wears. Bags are to be used. Enjoy them! Don't nitpick

Not sure she is nit picking nor does it appear she is blaming LV for this. I think she was asking what to do about the stains. It also appears to be peeling or scraped. I agree though a replacement strap is an option.I wouldn't even notice that once the patina wears. Bags are to be used. Enjoy them! Don't nitpick
White eraser may work, just be cautious not to over rub...I did that and it lost its sheen. When I tried another time I made sure to be more gentle and it helped lighten it a bit.I'm not blaming, I wonder if there's any way to remove the stains
Not even sure why you quoted my post?? I agree with the above as I didn't answer her question under the impression that she was nit picking but asking for help.I wouldn't even notice that once the patina wears. Bags are to be used. Enjoy them! Don't nitpick
seriously though it looks like it's peeling a little or is that just how it looks in the picture.I'm not blaming, I wonder if there's any way to remove the stains
I click on a thread about LV quality control, and get to read a whole debate about the correct usage of psychology terms and statistics... LMAO
Honestly, though, I haven't really had any issues with LV lately. The last item I bought was my mono pochette, and it's held up very well. I do partially agree with the theory that the complaints here on tPF are not truly representative of the satisfaction of LV's clientele as a whole. However, I think they could stand to do something about their glazing... and I think many would agree with me on that. I own items from other designers and never have any issues with glazing, whereas I've had several issues with LV items. It doesn't bother me, per say, because I know they can re-glaze... but it's something that I"m mindful of when purchasing.
yes that's me

Has anyone else received items in a brown cardboard box unsealed and not with the Louis Vuitton name inside?I ordered a SLG on line, it came this morning and literally the box had NO tape on it at all. They just put the product in and closed the box!!!! I simply opened it up ... and so could anyone along the way.
The first thing I did was verify its authentic BUT COME ON LV the product wasn't even secure in the box.
My bags have always come with LV written inside cardboard box ,securely taped .Has anyone else received items in a brown cardboard box unsealed and not with the Louis Vuitton name inside?
I just called LV and was told LV never tapes their shipping boxes closed ... What... SO unhelpful and snippy.
WOW LV what's going on? Lousy LV.com customer service![]()
