LV QUALITY CONTROL --- WHAT IS GOING ON??

I click on a thread about LV quality control, and get to read a whole debate about the correct usage of psychology terms and statistics... LMAO :giggle::rolleyes::eek:

Honestly, though, I haven't really had any issues with LV lately. The last item I bought was my mono pochette, and it's held up very well. I do partially agree with the theory that the complaints here on tPF are not truly representative of the satisfaction of LV's clientele as a whole. However, I think they could stand to do something about their glazing... and I think many would agree with me on that. I own items from other designers and never have any issues with glazing, whereas I've had several issues with LV items. It doesn't bother me, per say, because I know they can re-glaze... but it's something that I"m mindful of when purchasing.

 yes that's me  me bad
My brain is already frazzled trying to understand it all.

Me too. My bad. I just enjoy talking about psychology stuff cause I am doing a phd in a related field. So I couldn't resist
I enjoy learning psych stuff now that i'm a lot older. But realise I'm quite pants at understanding all the complex stuff. Poor dd has gone into hiding because she knows Ive still got a ton of questions unanswered in my head. I will bug her later . She has to really break it down into tiny pieces, repeat and repeat :-s for me to really understand it. To be fair although she does study experimental psychology her main specialism she wants to go into after undergrad degree is in linguistics, language development/acquisition. Ideally wants to be a post doc researcher in that field. But all those cognitive bias stuff mentioned earlier she's quite good at as it will have direct relation to her future profession, she would like to have her work published next year and all those biases she's really mindful of not making. Wishing you Good luck with your Phd:smile:

I ordered a SLG on line, it came this morning and literally the box had NO tape on it at all. They just put the product in and closed the box!!!! I simply opened it up ... and so could anyone along the way.

The first thing I did was verify its authentic BUT COME ON LV the product wasn't even secure in the box.

I'm not blaming, I wonder if there's any way to remove the stains

Once the bag patinas it's won't even be noticeable. It looks rubbed as well? Maybe it's just he photo. If that the case maybe a conditioner that won't change the patina? It's really insignificant in the long run though. You won't even be able to notice it!!

Has anyone else received items in a brown cardboard box unsealed and not with the Louis Vuitton name inside?
I just called LV and was told LV never tapes their shipping boxes closed ... What... SO unhelpful and snippy.
WOW LV what's going on? Lousy LV.com customer service:-(
