Question guys... I am going to UK on Wednesday. Now, my question is, the LV retailed price in UK on vuitton.com (UK) would be the same in store or not? And since I'm visiting, will I be able to get my VAT back for the item I bought at the airport? What percentage do you get? Please advice!!! Thanks in advance.

Yes the prices are the same and yes, you will be able to claim your VAT. I think you can claim back 12% (approx.) though I'm not 100% certain.

i know this is a slightly old thread, but wanted to *bump* for some help...

my friend is going to London in a few weeks and is going to purchase a galliera bag, 2 speedys, and a zippy wallet. currently, total amount is calculated at 1670 pounds ($2473 US). she's going to declare all the items, but curious to know what she'll have to pay in customs. if the fees are too high, then it wouldn't be worth it to buy any of it at all overseas. Thank you so much for any advice! i'm asking for her b/c i've asked her to bring back a few of the items for myself ;)

I went on the UK website and the keepall 55 is £535 and on the French website it is 595 Euro. here are some others:

Damier Geant messenger NM UK £730/ France 815 euro
Monogram Shopper Etoile UK £2,000/ France 2,250 Euro

Since the Pound is nearly One Euro, this means some bags are £250 cheaper in the UK than France.

Yes, at the moment the UK is the cheapest place to buy LV, but they actually raised prices aroud January 1, I bought a belt in December and it was in euros €192 while it was €235 in the Netherlands.
