LV prices in the UK

In this year alone prices in the UK have gone up 15%.. I mean as compared to dec 07..

I know, I was in today and totally shocked at the increase. I didn't even notice till the SA told me and happened to be browsing online now lol. Cannot believe how often prices are increasing, soon it'll be out of reach.

Yesterday I bought a Poche document and a Mini Noe from LV London and the SA said that all LV's prices will be increased by 4-5% starting today. I just checked online and the price has indeed increased! this is the 3rd increase this year in the UK. When I bought the Suhali Le Fab for my wife in January 08, It was only 2000 pounds. Now it's 2240 pounds!! my goodness..

I visited louisvuitton.com site today, to purchase my wanted-so-badly speedy 25, and surprise: the price has been increased of about 2.5% (for Italy).

speedy 25 was € 425,00 til yesterday and today is € 435,00!

Neverfull Pm: yesterday € 410,00 today € 420,00

Pochette accessories: yesterday € 205,00 today: €210,00

And so on!

I rarely get new LV so the price increases are just pushing me further and further away from even the smallest accesories - my speedy is now £55 more expensive :O

Alma has increased by £40 which equates to about a 6.3% increase. Given I'm a public sector employee still waiting on LAST year's pay increase (and as I started the job on the 8th October miss the performance related part by 8 days), I'll only get a 2% increase in my salary.

Well, I'm not sure how much time we have left before the increase hits the States but I was just informed that a few items set to come out this month have been pushed back to August 1st. The Vernis Alma GM is included. I'm guessing the increase will be in effect by then.
