LV prices in the UK

Yesterday I bought a Poche document and a Mini Noe from LV London and the SA said that all LV's prices will be increased by 4-5% starting today. I just checked online and the price has indeed increased! this is the 3rd increase this year in the UK. When I bought the Suhali Le Fab for my wife in January 08, It was only 2000 pounds. Now it's 2240 pounds!! my goodness..

my god! i am SO glad the prices aren't that expensive here....and wow, if i went to the UK and bought that bag it would be 4,480 for me (american)!!

if all you UKers came here to buy your bags it would be one big 50% off sale (maybe more)!

Well, since European prices have been pretty consistent with US price... does that mean we gonna have another price increase soon?

I noticed yesterday something had risen but I just thought I got myself confused and hadn't noticed the change since the last rise. Urgh I hate price increases especially since the last one was only around 2 months ago

The SA in London said the price hike will soon be extended to other countries around the world.. so it's a matter of time before the price increases in the US and Far east

For sure America will be hit..Usually the UK/France prices are cheaper and for about the last year, because of the decline of the American dollar WE ARE cheaper..So I bet if will be within the next month or 2 at the latest.

Prices of LV over the past several years have gone up. A couple of year ago I bought the Manhattan PM for like $1285 now it sells for $1620.

ZOMFG!!! 3 already and it is only half way through the year! This is completely ridiculous! Looks like there are gonna be 6 this year then, making a Speedy that started off the year at £340 be priced at £450 by the end of this year. I haven't bought any LV since Jan and it looks like it is going to continue on this way.
