I find myself looking towards other designers, ones that use some beautiful leathers as a norm instead of canvas. Why pay so much for something made of canvas, when for a little more you can get real leather?

It's so damn frustrating because we all need a little Vuitton in out life!

I saw the last year and increase of the price in the US, not too much as you said it was like 20 or 40 dollars, but if they increase the price in UK are they going to increase the price in US again?

Hi. I can't seem to get the bag prices from the LV website using my iPhone. Does anyone here in the forum knows the price of the Speedy 30 Mono in the UK? A friend of mine is currently holidaying in London and I would like her to buy the bag for me. It's really frustrating browsing through the LV website with my iPhone. TIA! 😃

Speedy 30 - 445 GBP
Speedy 30 Bandouliere - 645 GBP

Depending where you are from you might be able to get the VAT back (20%); if you are entitled, then make sure your friend gets a VAT receipt from LV and processes the paperwork at the airport when she leaves.

hello people, kinda new here. very informative site. well, i'm planning to get my wife a present not for her birthday or anniversary, just a loving gift from her husband. :) she really likes this LV Claudia bag white medium. any ideas how much is it in paris or any nearby countries there? thanks a lot.. any help will be much appreciated.

Ooh...VAT at 20%?? That's really huge! I'm from Singapore. Heard VAT is only 10%?

So that would mean if I purchased the Speedy 30 at 445 GBP and get a VAT refund of 20%, I would have paid 356 GBP for the bag? Wow!...great saving. Shall ask my friend to purchase the bag for me then.

Hi, I would like to clarify something. If I were to buy my LV in Paris, but will fly back to my country from London, I will be claiming the VAT in London's Heathrow Airport, am I right? Not in Paris? TIA!

I don't think you get the full 20% back. I've read in a few topics here how it's something like 12% (or maybe more, I think that was for Paris) but the gist is that it will be less as the tax refund people take a percentage as a fee of sorts.

Oh ok...thanks for the explanation. I'll still ask my friend to buy the bag for me anyway. 10% or 12%, its still much cheaper than when buying in Singapore. :smile1:
