My bracelet is 11 years (old screw system) and although I have to take it off from time to time (I have painful wrists unfortunately), the screws never loosen or came off when I put it back on my wrist.
I thought of buying a smaller size as it is quite big on me now (it wasn’t before) but reading this forum I think I won’t.
I will just keep it and add a small JUC (very light weight which could be good for me) to wear it together. Maybe this way, my reg Love won’t look so big on me and I will be able to keep and use a bracelet I never had any issues with…

I agree with @Gringach I had a Love cuff for a few years (no worries at all) decided to bite the bullet two and a half years ago and purchased (preowned as discontinued) a Love bracelet with the old screw system. Thankfully not once in the past two and a half years have I needed to tighten the screws. I do wish Cartier would revert to the old system. I get that people used to lose screws if they took their bracelet off, but surely that’s better than losing a bracelet which Cartier must be aware is a problem or they wouldn’t have come up with a ’fix’

i feel your fustration. If you have had the braclet for 3 years, will Cartier even offer you and exchange? I exchanged mine within about 5 months (and I think I just have a really nice/ good SA). i think your plan to persevere is the right one. Is it hitting a new/ second bracelet? I changed the order of my bracelets- try that too? Good luck.

Just a quick update- I tightened the screws again on Saturday morning and they seem to have set in place! They haven’t come loose at all.
For anyone else having a similar problem, it’s definitely worth persevering with tightening the screws.

Has anyone found out what the requirement is for getting the enhancement? I shipped mine to Cartier a month ago because the screws were coming loose every 2-3 days despite being less than a month old. (It started happening a week after I got it and I told my SA right away. So after a few weeks he suggested I mail it in since I live a few hours away and can’t drop it off). Yesterday I got an email that I will get my bracelet back by Tuesday and that they added the enhancement to the bracelet which will keep the screws from coming unscrewed while wearing. They said I may notice a slight clicking sound and feeling while putting the bracelet on and that this is completely normal. They also said the enhancement is shaped like a sprocket and that feeling/sound is the piece locking itself into place.

Yes, can confirm the screw enhancement does feel “clicky”. I don’t really hear a sound but after it returned from service it hasn’t come loose at or need tightening at all.

Overall it feels way more secure.

Hi all, just wanted to provide an update. Finally, I was sent a shipping label to send it back to the boutique (I bought it in the Caribbean while on vacation).
I was nervous, because they kept saying it has to be in perfect condition - and my response was that if it was perfect and not falling off, I would not return it - because I do love the bracelet!
I sent it off and they responded and let me know they will process the return.
I am glad this worked out because reading all of the latest updates, it would have made me nervous to keep a bracelet that may fall off at any time.
I've decided to go with the cuff whenever I next visit Cartier, since I don't have a store anywhere near me! It will be a less stressful option for me...
Thanks to all for the help and input.

How does "clicky" *feel*? I hear the clicks on the new system but cannot *feel* them. Thx

Not sure how to describe it, but you know when you sort of try to open a cap with a safety lock and initially there’s some resistance and it clicks? Kind of like that.

Someone mentioned the new screws are shaped more like a sprocket, which would make sense as to why I can feel it click as the screw is being tightened.

I took mine in to have the newer screw system put in, took about 2.5 weeks. It feels like turning the dial on a washing machine or tightening your gas cap on your car. It goes “click click click” as you tighten until it doesnt click anymore. screws havent budged at all! I love it and feel much more secure. I am able to put my classic love bracelet on myself and remove it myself too.

My experience- I have one old screw system- had for 12 years- has never loosened-and I have removed it maybe every other year. Last year I could get it off! I also have a new system- bought it 3 years ago. the first 4 months it continued to loosen and even fell off once. Sent it to my SA and he sent me a new one. This one loosened and I had to continue to tighten- and now 2 years later I haven’t had to tighten it for a year. Some bracelets are worse than others? I would take a replacement- and make sure your insurance covers replacement value as extra protection. I find the new system a bit of a roll with luck and so frustrating- but I am planning on buying a third- I just love the Love so much.
Good luck
So I have two YG loves that have the newer system, not with the enhancement, which I never take off (funny how the Kourtney Kardashian influenced this purchase, even though I'm a guy) and always had one or the other bracelet's screws get loose non-stop. It drove me crazy!
One day when I was cleaning them at home, I squeezed them on both ends where the screws meet and heard a that "click" when you have a tiny, tiny gap between where the two ends meet. SUDDENLY IT NO LONGER CAME LOOSE! (oddly enough the minuscule gap was on the opposite screw of the side that gets loose often.)
I hope this helps, if somehow we both had the same "problem." :P

Hi all! I just heard about the complimentary enhancement and decided to do some research before i send it in. Unfortunately there is not much info found. For those who had the service done, how is it holding up with time? Would you say it’s much more secure than before or do incidents still happen?
