Love bracelet new screw enhancement

Oh dear…… I was wondering why they don’t just make the new ones with the screws already enhanced, I guess that makes sense then :/

I believe Cartier is already selling bracelets with the enhanced screws, or is at least phasing them in, bc the bracelet I bought in May had screws that felt “clicky” like how others here have described. The screws on the new bracelet felt noticeably different from the screws on my other love (bought about a year ago).

Oh…. That’s good to know!
Has the new bracelet come loose before since you bought it?

So I know this thread is a little old and many people have probably already figured this out by now.. but I just spoke to customer service and was told that Cartier does offer complementary screw enhancement for their bracelets. You can either go to a boutique and have a SA send it in for you or customer service can email you the directions for you to mail it to them yourself. I have a Love bracelet from 2018 with the screw mechanism that keeps the screws in the bracelet but it does not have the enhancement that "clicks" when you are locking it, so I will be sending it in. Is there any benefit that anyone sees in sending it in yourself vs having the boutique send it in for you?

I think I would have piece of mind visiting a boutique and getting an SA to organise this for me. Imagine your bracelet got lost in the mail…

I have a fairly new small Love bracelet which is about two months old (bought directly from a Cartier boutique). All was well until earlier this month, when the bracelet randomly came undone. I was washing my hands and drying them on a towel, and poof, I found the bracelet dangling open on my wrist. And the bracelet/screw did not get caught on the towel or anything.

(Thank goodness this happened at home and not somewhere in public where it could’ve gotten lost.)

Anyway, I screwed it back on—just a quarter turn as recommended by my SA, and I heard the locking click.

But then, a few days ago after waking up, I noticed that the screw groove wasn’t horizontal—it had turned almost vertical by itself (the unlocking position).

This is unnerving because I treat my bracelet gently and I don’t take it off. I’m not sure if the locking mechanism is strong enough, or if something else is wrong? Anyway, I now check the screw several times a day just to make sure it won’t come off again. :(

I wouldn't be that enthusiastic - see the post above and mine. It definitely seems that Cartier still has a long way to go to get the bracelets right. Good that at least it worked for you.

Exactly right. The first of the now 5 or so mechanisms was the best ... with the only disadvantage that you could lose the screws. This is why they changed it in the first place back then. Now, the screws are not lost but losening

I wish they could finally find a way to get it right. Mine had to be glued again after the exchange.

Omg! I have had issues with the screws loosening without me realizing it and so right now I have to check them daily to make sure they are secure. My main interest in the enhancement is so that hopefully I will hear/feel the "click" if the screws loosen so I don't lose it without realizing it... it sounds like this is not a guarantee though
