The Doctor bag has some issues with the clasp. Think some customers feedback that they have problem opening the bag with great difficulty. Probably that's why Linjer stopped selling this model?

Thanks for the heads up!! I read that on here too...is it crazy I am willing to risk a difficult clasp (or just mostly carry it half open?) because I fell madly in love with it??

I have the Linjer Soft Tote in the "Chestnut" colour. It is indeed a very beautiful and lightweight bag. But I have to say, even though I really was very carefull, the bag is showing some wear at the bottom corners. Maybe the reason for that is that it does not have feet at the bottom.
Also, I find that the straps are not super-comfy. For me, they are a little bit too short and stiff. And they do tend to dig into my shoulder when the bag is filled with stuff (even though I never carry a ton of things with me).
All in all, the bag is beautiful, but definately not the most comfortable tote I have owned.

I don´t know the exact weight but I would definately say it is more on the lightweight side. The bag itsself is definately not heavy.
That said, I still don´t consider it super-comfortable to wear because of the shape and shortness of the straps. They are also quite stiff.

These bags looked interesting so I checked out their indiegogo site. Evidently they're moving production to Turkey and China. I'm hugely disappointed.

Hi there! new to TPF and lover of Linjer!

i got their soft tote in navy when they began on kickstarter, and i do love the textured finish, the leather quality (at least for the first few kickstarter batches) was good and smelled great!

unfortunately for me the soft tote was too small for work and i hardly carry it (i carry a lot of stuff) these days.

was looking at the Tulip bag for weekends, but upon reading this i'm SUPER disappointed they're moving production to China! is this for real? that just makes them like every other brand (sad!).

I got my tulip bag today as well! It's a beautiful bag.

Pros: design is beautiful, and the bag is quite roomy
Cons: leather is a bit stiff so it's a bit difficult to expand the bag (though the top is rather gaping no matter how tightly you cinch the drawstring; arguably another con), and still struggling to find a nice strap length where it doesn't stick out awkwardly around my hip.

Verdict: a unique and practical take on a bucket bag, but pretty thankful I paid Kickstarter pricing for it as I'm not sure it's worth its current price point given it's (relatively minor) issues.

Thanks Christie for ur sharing! I have reinvented the bag a little bit and turned it into a hand carry one....

Agree that the leather is a bit stiff and I hope it will get softer if I use more ....

To be frank I am a bit disappointed when I collected my bag ytd coz it doesn't look as great as the one as shown in their website....but then I spent an hour to study the bag and reorder the drawstring again ... now it looks more natural. Will observe and keep everyone posted after I use it for several times more ...

Thanks so much for posting this! I’ve been listing after this bag since the Kickstarter campaign but just couldn’t bring myself to pull the trigger and get it. I am glad now that I didn’t, since it definitely looks stiffer than I would have liked. You did a wonderful job with the strap though!

I've also received my tulip bag and was a little disappointed. It was smaller than I thought and the top does not close tightly. I don't think I would of bought it had I seen it at the store. I'll be more stringent of future campaign.
