So frustrating!
I picked up the new Jacques bag in the multi-colored, emerald green linen and for $480. It arrived last week and I used it, for the first time, yesterday and will be using it the rest of the week.

I picked up the new Jacques bag in the multi-colored, emerald green linen and for $480. It arrived last week and I used it, for the first time, yesterday and will be using it the rest of the week.
I love it, but the zipper got stuck on the fabric part of the zipper yesterday and I couldn't open my bag, so it will be sent back. I used it for six days. I'll have it replaced with the same style, but in leather. I tried to have it replaced with a Billy M, but the one that I wanted is now sold out.
As for the size, it's bigger than the Billy M.
Has anyone ever owned one of the leopard bags? I looooove the Alain but am hesitant to spend that much if the bag is going to get bald spots after use because of the rubbing against me when I carry it. Does anyone have any experience with this?
I've looked for ages for a leopard bag, but the less expensive ones don't strike my fancy. I just keep coming back to Jerome Dreyfuss... If I knew it would last me forever, I'd spring for it.

I have a small Alain in leopard on the way to me.
After a lot of dithering and changing my mind over which size to buy I finally chose the small one - hope it works out!

It's my first JD bag and I'm very impressed with the quality, as well as loving the style
The Billy bags are incredible. It's the most practical bag you can get. I've been looking at the Jerome Dreyfuss Gaston bag. Do you guys think this one in the pictures is genuine? I doubt they even make fake Jerome Dreyfuss bags since the designer is smaller than the major leather-makers. Let me know.
