hi All - I am new to the forum and I realise that this is an old thread but am hoping there are some JD fans out there to convince me of a bargain. I have a Martin bag in the grey flannel on hold for me - sale price of £200 which I have coveted for some time - though didn't commit to as I have a few other similarish bags and I see this as very much an extra. My thoughts are that at this price I can't do with out it?! Anyone care to convince me?

Does anyone have a Jerome Dreyfuss calf hair leopard bag? If so, how much has the calf hair warn off and how much use does it take for it to happen? I'm trying to understand how durable the calf hair in this brand is before I purchase
I haven't been on this thread in ages (been on a purse ban.) But when I saw the post about the JD sample sale I thought I would check it out...and I walked out with the grey leopard Carlos.

It is worth calling to see if any are left.
They had Python Carlos, Johans in a few colors, Vladimirs, a lot of the smaller nylon totes with the leather straps from a few seasons ago, a few of the smaller clutches, a box of popoches, tons of the men's bags, and a few styles I have never seen - e.g. very small vertical rectangular clutches.
There were also a lot of a style from a few seasons ago I can't remember - it has zips on the side to expand and front pockets but much smaller than the Max was.

Thought I'd share a nice experience. I was in the JD boutique in Paris to see if I could buy an extra flashlight/key chain. The SA there was so nice. She just gave me an extra one they had (and let me choose from the colours that were available) including putting on a new flashlight. She wouldn't take $ for it. I have a few JD bags but they wouldn't know me as a regular customer, so I thought it was very sweet of her to just give it to me.

Picked up an unusual JD at the NYC store: Francois in silver hardware. I have very few cross-bodies and nothing in silver HW so quite happy about this!
