Finally got a chance to take some pics of my new Buddha charm:smile1: It's a good sized charm and the quality is right on par with the others. I like the more subdued coloring on this for my neutral bags, I attached a pic of it on my large Givenchy Pandora just for size. I have also received the Peacock since last post but do not have any snaps of it yet. I was inspired by Tiare to add the Peacock to my collection after I saw the pics of hers on her Bal bag.

GLL I think JC did release a flower ball charm very early. I have not gotten the flower ball on Sak's by JSW yet but I am leaning toward making that my next addition. Hope all is well with you:heart:

Wow, they really did a nice job on that Buddha charm. Lots of detail, congrats.

Well I finally bought my first JS charms.
I've been looking at them for a couple of years now and with the slowdown on the Juicy charms coming out, I decided to take the plunge.
I received the leopard one yesterday and it is beautiful. Very detailed and a nice size. I have a couple more coming in the next couple of days and will post photos when I have them all.

BTW, what is up with the JS site shipping charges? $9.99 for each charm/item? I bought mine from NM and got free shipping, so I'll be buying from there when I can.

Also does anyone know if these charms are counterfeited?
I was looking at some of the older ones on ebay and wondered if there were fakes of these?
TIA

Congrats on your first JS charms! Can't wait to see your pics!

As I mentioned earlier, from experience, the shipping on the JS site is $9+ for charms that are $95 and $12+ for charms that cost $125. Unless one just wants to contribute to high postage rates NM would be the place to buy these charms barring the fact said charm one desires is exclusively sold on the JS site such as the Bartholomew the Lion.

My little JS charm family is happily growing:

The Giraffe:

The old Turtle which is more beautiful than I can ever photograph:

The JS Gold Rhodes Toggle Bracelet for Breast Cancer. The Bee is sentimental to me:

The Bee&Flower charm:

The Animal Heads: (I know the Lion is the king of the jungle but the Tiger head is tops in my book. I wore it to a doctor's appt as a pendant on my gold necklace and it was stunning!)

There are a few more charms that are "must haves" for me. I also need to go ahead and purchase a JS necklace. I could not be any happier with these lovely detailed charms. They are worth the price to me.

ETA: Just realized I left out Mara the Leopard! Will have to take another group shot.

I believe these charms can also be counterfeited and or repaired and sold without the buyer being notified. I say the latter because the Turtle is so beautiful that the eyes and the hook could have been replaced while the rest of the charm appears real if that makes sense. I purchased my Turtle off *bay and the seller did a few things that left me cold. I purchased the Giraffe from her too. I wanted the Turtle and wanted to get them at the same time. She had me purchase the Turtle at the offer price she'd accept. She never took the picture down for that charm and when I received my charm it was missing enamel in the hook area on both sides and it was missing the stone in the hook. After comparing the pics of my Turtle to another poster's charm it appears mine is fake! Notice the eyes in mine are scary looking compared to the other poster's Turtle.

I have tried talking, nicely, to this seller until I was blue in the face. I even spoke with her telephonically. Personally, I would not accept a charm from her if she were giving them away for free! (And she has a lot of charms). Of course that doesn't mean your experience with her would be bad. I'll just say charm buyers beware!

I will show detailed pics of the fake Turtle before I send it back.

ETA: I'm sending both the Giraffe (even though he came in an unlabeled, original Strongwater box, I don't trust the seller at all) and the Turtle back to the seller as I have opened a PP dispute. Seller currently has a Turtle charm on *bay. It is the same picture used when I purchased my charm. Notice how she cleverly pictured the charm where one cannot see the details that are missing from the hook.

Here are two shots of the old Turtle charm. The hook should have a crystal in it on one side and both sides of the upper hook area should be enameled. In this instance there is no crystal and no enamel.

I only hope someone can view this incident and learn from it. That alone would give this situation some positivity.

It has! I've been picking a few up a month it seems. I have a discount for 10% off that I'm hoping to use on the Flowerball charm from Sak's. I have an extra code I would be happy to send you if you might use it, they work on pretty much everything ;) I got an email from you a few weeks back but no PM:confused1: I'm so sorry if I missed responding. My messages are wonky sometimes and for a while there I was not receiving any and my "sent" mail was not going through. I am so sorry you went through such a mess with the turtle, what a pain!! Thank you for posting pics for us to see and for explaining the issues so we know what to look for. All of your others are just gorgeous! I love the Bee and flower charm, so pretty!

SO beautiful!

Thank you!

Can't wait to see yours KR!! I'm glad you love your Leopard and I can't wait to see your new, small collection :) I do know these are faked from previous experience but I don't know as much about them as JC charms so I just research each very closely before I buy second-market. I have had to pass on a few because I can't find any "good" images to compare them to. Maybe we can have some kind of database like we did with the JC charms for us to refrence when shopping?

Thanks! I was hoping I could shop on *bay and not have to worry about fakes, but I guess not. Thanks for the photos.
Your collection is so pretty, I love the detail of these charms.

Thanks! I think a reference thread would be great. Good idea. That's pretty much how I learned about the Juicy charms, referring to those charm reference threads.

So good to hear from you! I know that sometimes the pm messages disappear as if they've entered the Bermuda Triangle. No worries. I'll get the message to you another way. ;) Thank you for thinking of me with regard to the code information. :smile1:

I knew better than to purchase from that seller. My radar went up immediately having corresponding with her via email and by phone but I thought since I made it clear I was a collector in search of authentic, whole product she would understand and treat me fairly. So much for that thought. I was happy to go through it if it means I'll get my money back, which I will and that the situation could provide a teachable moment for us newbies to the JS charms.

Thank you regarding the Bee & Flower charm! It is adorable. The Bee and Flower move up and down when you wear them. The chain they are hanging on moves freely back and forth through the loop they hang from thus sometimes the Bee will be higher than the flower and vice versa. There are even times when they both will be at the same level. I didn't realize that from the picture posted on the JS website.

In keeping with the Bee theme, my mom was called "Queen Bee" by her my grandfather, my next charm could be Muriel Bee! I, too, love the Flower Ball. Of course now I'd like to have the old Turtle. I cannot even explain how beautiful that charm is in person. Wow!
