Hi Bull, it is the actual thread coming undone.
I was just curious how serious the issue is (for them). I'd try to take it back in both cases. They should give you another one. If it would have been just a loose end, their craftspeople could just burn the thread and then they could resell it again, but for a practically brand new product it is cheaper to just throw it out and give you a new one.
You can take it back to any Louis Vuitton in the world (except the airport stores).

Thank you.
I contacted the LV hotline.
The employee told me to send photos.
She will send another mail about „the next steps“. I hope I can change the bag in a store not far away from my hometown.

I bought a pre-loved Catogram speedy this year. While it seemed in good condition then, (leather handles indicated it was barely worn) the printed outer layer seems to already be wrinkling and even peeling in some parts!

I live in a country with a humid tropical climate, but I store it in a dustbag, stuffed and with a bag organizer too.

Unfortunately LV has said they're unable to fix this as it's a limited edition and they no longer have the material. Has anyone had similar experience with LV's printed designs and any advice on fixing?1000117376.webp1000117375.webp

The employee hasn't gotten back to me yet. Yesterday on the phone, she said the bag could be mailed back to Amsterdam. That seemed a bit odd to me. I'll bring it to the LV store near my hometown on Saturday and i hope they will exchange it.

Thank you very much for replies.
If you have the receipt (I hope you do), it says at the bottom that you can take it back to almost any location.

Yes, I have the receipt. 🙂
My Dutch is not very good, but it is the information you gave me.
Normally i order online, so this process is new to me.
Now i‘m much more relaxed.

I don’t understand why the lady on the phone did not give me this information.

image.webpAnybody still using their twice/twinset? I use mine a few times a year. Normally no issues but pulled it out and the strap glazing feels sticky? Please tell me this is not a known issue with this bag? I LOVE it and will be super sad. I bought it when in first came out and it still looks amazing.

ETA I do not live in hot/humid area. I’m in the northeast US

Hi all, I just got this belt today (Skyline), is this normal? I see hairline scratches on the buckle. The belt is brand new. Thank you for any insight :)

If this one as online order, then they don't care enough, if it is from thevstore, then is must have been tried on a few times before. Anyway, I prefer to cause these myself on my items.

Do you guys think this is normal on the Pochette Metis? The glazing starts to crack a bit in the corners where the flap bends. Bag is half year old, barely used. TIA
