If you rub it with a baby wipe and it comes off, then it was just some residue left by something. But this look is typical of how a damaged cover layer looks on Louis Vuitton canvas, and in 99% of the cases, it is that. Hand sanitizers are the most common culprit, but practically anything acidic can cause this kinda damage. No I’ve never used this piece
Maybe it is just being new if it feels less oily to the touch than something you use regularly. But in general you just keep the 'canvas' clean, wipe it with everything-free baby wipe from time to time. That's all.how to you care for screen printed canvas that feels "dry"? I have a sunset xs keepall i got preloved that might need TLC but i don't want anything to flake or peel or come off?
If anything the saphir rife might help since it is formulated to maintain plastic coating https://saphir.com/products/vernis-rifeMaybe it is just being new if it feels less oily to the touch than something you use regularly. Some people say leather conditioner, but this material is anything but leather. This is just straight up plastic. A conditioner will either do nothing, on if it has even a mild level of acidity (which they should have by design), then it can slowly degrade the canvas. I don't like this marketing word they use when they call it canvas, because it is literally PVC.
That is just wax. Might help to shield from damaging liquids for a while, but that's all.If anything the saphir rife might help since it is formulated to maintain plastic coating https://saphir.com/products/vernis-rife
🤣
Hard to see, but if that is just the regular upper-layer having a tiny hole then yes, it will eventually get bigger as the years go by, but most of those bags have some wear on the corner anyway. Also it is so microscopic now, that Vuitton doesn't even see it as an issue, and when the corner wears more, they'll just deem it wear and tear. I wouldn't worry about it, enjoy the bag.Hi I got a reversible neverfull bb just yesterday and noticed some tiny holes on the canvas. Can these become bigger?
Yes, there have already been other members lately having the same 'issue'. Seems like a design change, they adjust things from time to time.I bought my first lv bag a few days ago in store. It’s the pochette Métis, and I love it! I just noticed it doesn’t have a stitched leather tag on the middle pocket. It has a gold stamped made in France logo on the inside flap. I chatted with customer service and they said it is normal. Has anyone else seen this?
Ah ok, thank you!!!Yes, there have already been other members lately having the same 'issue'. Seems like a design change, they adjust things from time to time.
Is that the actual thread coming undone or just a rogue end dangling around above the intact thread? Can't see.Hello,
i bought the ALMA PM 1,5 weeks ago on holiday in Amsterdam. I am from Germany. I discovered this potential flaw today.
I did not use the bag.
What would you say, return it or not? And is it possible to return it in Germany?
Thank you very much in advance for your help.
