I have another speedy that I purchased preloved that I would really appreciate some sage advice on. It's a 2012 empriente speedyb 25 in the color aurore. The actual bag is in perfect condition and came with the strap, lock, keys and clochette. I noticed small hairline cracks in the glazing on the handles and on the strap. The glazing is not sticky or tacky. My concern is that the cracks with worsen with time and use. Any info or suggestions would be very much appreciated. If needed I can still return it at this point.

Early Empreinte is famous for this. The cracks will definitely worsen over time and the paint will even melt, as it is already showing with the handle having pressed marks on it.
It is a tough choice, since the bag is beautiful, in excellent condition (you have a very good eye for picking these beauties), so returning it would be such a waste. Vuitton in theory offers reglazing services, which is usually free if a batch has a known issue (this one does), but in the case of early Empreinte they don't really do it since the leathers are not available anymore, so in most cases I saw here, they just took it in and gave store credit.
An independent craftsperson could remove all the edgepaint and redo it properly (handles, clochette, straps), but the work and skill to do this properly would cost half of what you just paid. Tough decision.

Thank you so much as I value your insight. It's definitely a beautiful bag and I love the color. I agree, if I were to repair, I'd most likely contact Ragu Brothers to get at an estimate. A very hard decision indeed!

I bought a felicie pochette in empreinte leather a few days ago. At home, I noticed that some of the edges aren’t smooth. Is it normal that they look like this (white lines above the glazing ). It’s not very noticable, bit I’m worried it’ll start to peel after using it for a while.
Edited to add the following: At the store, the CA was very rushed to sell this to me. I was deciding between this one and the bicolour, but she pushed towards this one (this is a classic and the other one goes with nothing). She put the other one Felicie and wanted me to pay. I told her I was still deciding between both and she was very annoyed. I got to see the bag for just another moment and then I had to decide.
After I had paid, she really wanted me to get a hotstamp. She acted very surprised that I didn't want it and asked why not.

Smart move on her side since that makes it a final sale. But I'm glad you didn't say yes.
The edges being wonky is normal since the leather is grained. But the white lines (residue), whatever that is, does not seem super normal tbh. I don't believe that it would be a quality issue down the road, but this is an all-black bag, and it kinda ruins it, even if it being just a small detail. I agree with @BagAddiction712 that it really seems like their usual glue. They are notorious for being careless with glue for the past decade. I myself had 2 glue-related incidents too.
I know that they will be very annoyed if you take it back, but if I were you, I'd do that. This bag is still very expensive and they really should get their sh** together.

She wanted you to hotstamp the bag so that it would not be eligible to be returned.

Return the bag and buy the bicolor version which it seems that maybe you preferred.

Thanks everyone for the advice on my Felicie!

I went to the store, and she CA told me that it is indeed a glue residue. She said that all empreinte bags have this and she would try to take it off. When she came back, it was a lot worse. The glue had now spread over the edge. She then took out another Felicie and that one didn't have any glue residu on it, so I was allowed to exchange it for that one.

I'm really glad I followed your advice! The white glue would always have bothered me and apparantly it's not so easy to get it off.

Hi, I've recently got gifted a second hand Alma bb. The problem is the more I look at it, the more I think it may be fake... It's the color. To me it looks way too dark. It's taken me a long time to be able to take a photo showing exactly what it looks like it real like, but this photo is a accurate showing of exactly the colour it is. I am aware shade variations are very normal, but not to this extent? I did go into a Louis Vuitton recently, the only damier piece they had out was so much lighter then this :(
