I had cracked glazing on my neo noe bb (monogram) after 1 year 8 months or so. They were able to exchange it for a new one. But now the top handle that it comes with has a popped stitch that I didn't notice at the store and rough stitching 🤦🏽♀️ the longer strap’s hardware is also pretty scratched but I saw the SA take the plastic off so it must have been that way from production.
I’m a sucker for the classics and brought this cutie home tonight. Looking it over and noticed it pushes out considerably on the right side while the left is concave. The interior middle pocket also seems longer than the width it’s sown into but maybe that’s intentional. Please advise whether this bag looks flawed or if this is the nature of this particular squishy bucket?

Hello Everyone. I just bought my first Alma and it is a vintage Murakami LV. I noticed that the leather around the zipper aren't all stitched the same way. Some are stitched squarely around the zipper piece and so leaving the tips on left and right curled up somewhat. In others this piece around the zipper are stitched along the "tip" of the bullet head shaped leather strip, so this keeps these tips on the left and right from curling.
Can I confirm that these are just different ways LV decided to stitch this leather around the zipper of an Alma?

I have a Speedy 25 empreinte also bought in Paris. The side zipper is not “concaved” like yours. From your pictures, it looks like the side panel was not cut straight and caused the zipper to curve inward. Speaking of buying in Paris , I returned the first bag I bought on the next day and exchanged for a better quality one (wasting my vacation time). Buying in Paris does not give you better quality as I found out. The first one has the bottom “caved” in because of bad sewing. Perhaps you can still go to the boutique and exchange for a better one.
Hi! I am wondering if this is normal wear and tear for neverfull mm damier ebene? My bag is less than 6 months old from purchase date. I took it with me during my 1 week trip to Japan. I only used it during my travel in airport. I am sad that it has scartches already.

I recently purchased a preloved Speedyb 30 in Azur to complete my 30b trifecta. I love the bag and the azur print. The bag is from 2015 and came with everything...dustbag, strap and extender, lock/keys and even the textile card/bag model stickers. I also saved close to $600 buying preloved.
My question is this normal for vachetta? The chaps are a bit darker than the handles. Also, all 4 chaps seem to have a bit of discoloration meaning on each chap part of it is darker and then there is a striation which is a bit lighter. I also noticed the day I received the bag, the glazing on both handles was a tad tacky. I presume it was like this due to being on a hot ups truck. I gave the handle glazing 24 hours and they are no longer tacky, however the glazing is a little thicker than most of my other LV bags. Are these things I should be concerned about or is this normal for a 10 year old bag? Please help...

It Looks Like something scratched the leather and I think that can happen by using it on a flight where it gets busy and also when it went in a box through security check. There are many situations where scratches can happen. I hope you fully enjoy your bag
It looks like the bag might’ve been stored for a while with the handles down and out of its dust bag creating those tan lines on the chaps. I would maybe leave it out with the handles up so the sun can maybe even it out. But I’m also not a pro!! Lol. Maybe one of the pros can address it
Unfortunately this happens with damier ebene. Happened to my speedy strap. It might’ve bumped into something without realizing it
Honestly, I think you're right now that I look at it from that perspective. The patina on the vachetta is completely even on every part of the bag except the chaps. No water marks, etc. The bag is in perfect condition and doesn't even appear to have been used at all...not even on the strap D rings. I'll try getting a bit of sun on the handles and see how it turns out.
It is in unbelivably good condition. The previous owner surely put a bandeau/twilly around the handles, hence the light tan. Practically almost new. Enjoy it. What a great find.
I hadn't considered the possibility of the previous owner using a bandeau/twilly on the handles. I don't use them so didn't even cross my mind as a possibility. Thank you so much, will definitely enjoy!
