The foil situation is unfortunately very normal, it is extremely difficult to have a clean stamp on this Taïga-ish lining leather they use. Sometimes they succeed, sometimes they don't. They have very little control over the outcome.
They rub it with a cloth afterwards to peel off the foil from the edges, but if it sticks too much, then they can't. Like with this one.
So even though it's not the nicest, it wouldn't bother me since it wasn't carelessness, just luck. Some of my stamps are super crisp, some of them are like this. With smaller letters it's more common. Also depends on the shape of the letters.

What would bother me like crazy tho is how off-center it is. It literally doesn't align with anything.

Thank you for the reply! I understand they wont be perfect, but i think this is really blurry. Especially the K looks terrible in person. I dont mind so much that it's not centered, especially since he warned me that it might not be centered. So there's no chance that the extra foil will flake off over time? It will stay this way?

The funny thing is that the can easily center it. Most SAs spend minutes with a ruler to get it right, do a test stamp, etc. very easy for them actually. This was a quick&dirty job.
The foil on the other hand, that is luck. And to be honest, based on my experience, most of that will stay there. You can also go over it with a linen cloth, that can simulate a few months of wear, but it might only remove a little.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I think it's terrible that a luxury brand allows sloppy employees destroy expensive pieces. I really felt like didnt wanna go through the hassle of fighting about returning it and the store is in another city. So last night i rubbed the stamp a bit and scratched with my long nails and noticed it helped a bit. I was corageous enough to take a small rounded tool (not sharp) and worked on the edges of the letters carefully and i actually was able to make it look really good. Please dont take my advice, cause i can see this going wrong too. But now i'm ok with my stamp. Not happy with the service at LV though. Here's a before and after.

Hi everyone,

I took out my Alma BB after a while to wear it today and I noticed a small scratch on the leather. I know it’s very small, but is this something I’d be able to remove with leather conditioner?

The Ebene leather is heavily treated, so I wouldn't recommend any kind of classic leather treatment. This is not a shoe afterall.
I'd just try to buff it out gently with an everything-free baby wipe. If it is just a light surface mark, it will disappear. If it is a deeper, then it will be there, and that's also OK. It's almost invisible, and as time goes by, they are inevitable.

Honestly it is very hard to even notice it. I’ll try the wipe and see if it helps. If not that’s okay too. Thank you

Hello everyone,

This afternoon, I bought a Speedy 25 at the LV store. After closely inspecting it at home, I noticed a small line on the canvas, just bellow the zipper, where the pocket is sewn on the inside. It's hard to notice, and it doesn't bother me, but I'm afraid the canvas will crack later on. Therefore I would like to ask if this is normal.

Additionaly, I also noticed that the sides of the bag are uneven. It looks like the curves on both side starts at a different point.

Other than that, I really love this bag, but it' love to hear your advice.

I could live with the side panel, there is always a variance, most people don't even notice.
But that line imprint... if I were you, I'd go back and ask them to give me another one if possible. I am a vocal against the pocket design on these type of bags. The Monogram canvas can take this more easily (softer, more pliable), but I remember when they added pockets to the Keepall, the first one was the Cobalt version. Same stiffer canvas like the Ebene. The bump in the canvas, under which the pocket starts, turned out to be a weak point, and after years that was the exact spot where a crack emerged. My Monogram — which is older — is still intact. Since then, I have become quite skeptical about these types of pockets. Once bitten, twice shy.
Most Damier Speedies are fine and will be fine, but it's better to be safe and if you can have one without a strong line imprint right at the weak point, then I'd go for that.

Thank you for your insightful advice! I will go back to the LV store.
I didn’t know damier is stiffer than mono. Good to know!
