My zippy coin purse is missing a lot of glazing around the edges, despite the fact that I don’t use this wallet very often. I have a lot of bags and a lot of SLG’s that I rotate through, but this piece looks like it has been used a lot, which it hasn’t.
Is this typical wear and tear for perhaps a dozen and a half uses?View attachment 6204486View attachment 6204487View attachment 6204488View attachment 6204489
IMO - Doesn’t look normal to me if only used a handful of times

Did you ever try to take it back to the store and ask if it can be fixed?
No. One piece I got it via a friend from the popup store in Tokyo as it was a Japan exclusive, one from my local shop, haven‘t used them right away as they stink like hell. Tried to air them out, with did not work that well abd then stored them away and didn‘t look at them for a long time. Then realized the stickyness long time after. It sticked to the dust bag. So return was not an option which actually would have been the best.
Haven‘t brought it to my local shop yet because I don‘t like going to the store at all since my trusted SA quit, they always take forever for everything. Like last time it took one hour to just collect an online order.
Perhaps I will try it at some point.

Oh ok I see, I called CS and they said to take to the store and have the customer care members inspect it. I may give that a try and see how it goes

Hi all! Want to get your advice! I have recently gotten my CB Speedy which I am super excited about, however, one side of the bag seems to be taken in too much versus the other. Want to get your thought and see if this is normal and if there is a way to fix it or I should just let it be?

This is a soft bag, the shape will change with use, it's gonna be fine. Also it is like super limited, so I'd just use it even it would be a little crooked, but this one will be just fine. The piping on the smaller bags usually looks a little funny fresh out of the factory, but with use it gets back to normal.

Thank you very much! This makes me feel much better!!

I made an online purchase of the neverfull from the cherry collection but noticed that the canvas was not aligned at the sides. I took it into the store to swap it. They only had 2 in the London store and one of them had different canvas textures on each surface so I only had the display piece to swap for. However I noticed that the stitching is inconsistent. Would you keep it or return it? Also, wanted to check if any of you have issues returning an item more than once?

When you say "canvas was not aligned at the sides", did you mean that the pattern was not matching or mirroring along the the edges of the bag where it is stitched together?
IMO, I'd totally take that over uneven stitching.
To me the uneven stitching is more obvious and easily seen. It's right in the front. I don't think I've ever looked at someone's printed canvas and noticed that the pattern wasn't lining up on the sides. That's a very small window of sight and low surface area to notice.

Same. I would have just kept the original one. And you are very lucky that they had stock of this to swap.
The side alignment thing is perfectly fine in 99% of the cases, generally they do an amazing job blind aligning these panels, when literally a tiny offset of half a millimeter turns visible. People tend to overreact in this area. If Hermès had these patterns, they would have a similarly hard time aligning, though they would just push the hand-made excuse.

Hey!

I just got my first Louis Vuitton hot stamp on an agenda. The letters look a bit blurry, like there gold in between the spaces of the letters. The SA that did the hot stamp told me it's normal and that the extra would flake off in a few weeks. That sounded a bit weird. Is that true or was i fooled to accept a stamping that went wrong?

Extra bits of the metallic film they use still remaining is common and should flake off with use like the CA said. I cannot speak to the crispness of the letters themselves without seeing a photo, but if it is stamped on a textured leather, the letters rarely come out perfectly crisp.

Hello! Thank you for yhr reply. I understand they wont be perfectly crisp, but this one has alot of extra. How fast does the extra film flake off? Here's a pic of mine. Does it look normal?
