Thank you for your opinions! I decided to return the bag as the uneven trim was bothering me, I will just have to go in-store and inspect one in future I think. That is very strange about it missing one stitch there but I am sure it will hold fine. Thank you again.

Before I take the bag in, I wanted to ask it here. If the handle if pulling the base of the canvas and causing cracking and flaking on the canvas, would you consider it a quality issue?

This looks horrible. I believe that they will try to convince you that the corner damages are from heavy use, but there is no way they can find an explanation for the handle tears. The PVC is just very weak on this model. I'd be very disappointed if it wouldn't be an immediate exchange or store credit.

I 100% agree with you that what they will try to do. Without the corner damage, it would be an obvious store credit, the thing is, not sure if you'd agree, it's not heavy use, and you can see it's flaking off due to poor materials. The bag is pretty mint besides some cracking on the glazing on the handles. Thought this would be a pretty obvious case. Thanks for your thoughts!

Found that due to the ultra light design of this bag, lighter materials and construction, this defect would be considered wear and tear. Maybe if this was noticeable out the gate, it would be a different scenario.

Of course, a 'rubbed-to-the-wall' corner doesn't look like this at all, I know that very well, but I'm sure they'll give it a try to blame you. I really hope they'll be nice and exchange.
It is so interesting that the canvas white. My guess that this is also part of the design to make it softer.

I agree it doesn't look like this, spoke to my repair guy at LV and he told me this bag since it was made to be light weight, used light weight materials this is what happens. He didn't say, but I bet age also tied in with the probability that this is somewhat common (hence why they stopped making it) is why they would cover it under wear and tear. If this was found closer to the date of purchase, I bet it would be a different answer.

Just picked up this alma bb from the LV store today. I didn't notice the red stitches on the bottom of the bag until I got home. I know the red stitches are pretty normal for this kind of bag, however, the red stitches are poking out quite a lot. I like the rest of the bag though. I am torn right now and would appreciate your opinion. Would you guys exchange the bag or keep it??
