Dear vanity pm lovers, just received my new vanity pm and the color of the canvas and the handle shape seems to be rather odd?.On its own it seemed alright but the handle seems abit wider and the color tone is warmer if compared to my old vanity pm side by side. one in the front is my old vanity pm which I have been using for 3 years now. Is this normal? Should I return it? Helpppp

Hi it's hard to compare the dimensions because your new vanity is to the back so it seems smaller overall. Just by looking at it, I don't see anything wrong with it but again it's hard to have the full visual because it's to the back of your old one.
Hi dear thanks so much for your prompt response; I’ll try to get a clearer pic. But is it normal for LV to have different color tones of reverse mono canvas? I’m relatively new in regards to this as I only own a reverse mono card holder and vanity pm. I also felt this new canvas is not as soft as the vanity pm when I bought it years ago in store. But then again maybe I’m just over thinking- and it could’ve been on display for awhile thus it’s softer.

The one in the back looks gorgeous! Canvas batches can vary in color tone (especially in azure) but I’m guessing the biggest reason for the difference is that you’re comparing a heavily used bag next to a brand new one. It looks great to me but you need to be happy with it.

Hi darling, thanks so much for ur reply❤️❤️ lol I’m just a paranoid overthinker I think so too, im just so used to me squishy and well worn vanity that the new one feels rigid right out of the box. (I’m also today years old that I just realized all my pieces varies slightly in tone!) I just didn’t expect the vanity handle to be diff- but I dropped my local SA a msg and she said that diff made in countries have slightly diff handles! I didn’t know that as all the vanity I’ve seen is always the pointier handle!

Hi there, Just purchased my palm Springs mini today.

I went to 2 stores and looked at 5 bags. This was the best one of the 5 i looked at, at the 2nd store.

The stitching is great and alignment looks almost perfect.

The front pocket however, wasn't as puffy as the 4th bag i saw, which had tiny alignment issues with the front pocket logo. Also, the material above the pocket on the right, wasn't smooth as I would've thought. I have stuffed my front pocket with tissues to make it more puffed out as well as stuffed the inside of my bag to improve the material structure.

I don't know if I'm over thinking it, as the bag i chose was the best of the 5 i saw.

Thoughts? Am i over thinking it?

1st pic - bag is unstuffed. I circled my concerns.

2nd pic - I stuffed the pocket and inside body with tissues and paper.

Thank you!

It took three attempts, but I finally got one that has good embossing. Returning two of them in brand-new condition, but shouldn’t have needed to do this when it wasn’t a problem until recently IMO.

Wow that poor attempt at stamping is abysmal. Would totally bother me too, good for you for taking it back!

I don’t know if I would have had the balls to return, I’m one of those “oh it’s ok” but really it will bother me forever type of people.

Hey fellow LV lovers, I am completely new to LV and just purchased my first bag about 3 weeks ago. I used her like 4 or 5 times, nothing wild or unusual, just went shopping with her etc. She was sitting in my closet basically always over the past 2 weeks. When I came back from my family after Easter I wanted to try a hairstyle with the bandeau I had purchased with and for my Neonoé. So I took the bandeau off and discovered a quite huge stain underneath.
I am absolutely clueless about how this could have happened. There's nothing visible from the inside, it looks like it's under the coating if the Epi leather. My main question as a newbie is, is it worth taking her to the store and ask for help, or is it simply my fault and nothing can be done. I really don't know how this could have happened, I really have twisted my brain, but don't know. And I am really sad now cause I've kind of ruined this special bag...
I absolutely want to take responsibility for my mistake, my sole question is, has anyone ever experienced anything similar specifically with the epi leather, and do you think the store can help me fix it? (I know I won't get a new bag)

Thank you so much for any advice!

It’s so weird that both wallets I viewed in-store had the bad embossing, but the online order was perfect!

The edge of the stain implies that it is some kind of liquid damage. But Épi is crazy hard for water to penetrate. Even if it sat on a wet table with the bottom edge "taking a bath" for some time. I don't know :( I also could imagine excess glue on the inside that took time to fight through the leather and it made the effect after weeks.

Hunting a Keepall from my year of birth online, but found a couple that have strap clasps I've never seen before. This is what I mean: https://www.xupes.com/handbags/prod...a-leather-vintage-keepall-55-bandouliere.html It looks like a simple gold carabiner hook, not the LV branded one that my Keepall 45 has. Just wondering if I should steer clear of these. Otoh, if you're going to make a fake, why leave out such a noticeable thing? :hrmm:

I have a second-hand dealer I usually buy from here, in person, because I trust her. I find online hunting to be pretty scary. :-s Does anyone recognise that feeling?

Advice needed… Bought this micro wallet last year but used it 6 months tops and noticed recently the discolouration in the button hardware. First time I see a wallet doing this, I am a bit baffled I’d expect this sort of things to happen with fast fashion items… anyone had same issue? How did you deal with it ? Is this something I should go to the store and complain about?
Item is made in Spain and bought in one of the London stores.

Thanks !

Could hand sanitizer have fallen in there? Have same bag in honey gold for over 1 year, it spends the winter in its dust bag and not noticed such things. But I had tearing in the handle holder after 3 months and LV refused to do anything and blames it to wear and tear …. Suggest a trip to the store tbh
