Hey fellow LV lovers, I am completely new to LV and just purchased my first bag about 3 weeks ago. I used her like 4 or 5 times, nothing wild or unusual, just went shopping with her etc. She was sitting in my closet basically always over the past 2 weeks. When I came back from my family after Easter I wanted to try a hairstyle with the bandeau I had purchased with and for my Neonoé. So I took the bandeau off and discovered a quite huge stain underneath.
I am absolutely clueless about how this could have happened. There's nothing visible from the inside, it looks like it's under the coating if the Epi leather. My main question as a newbie is, is it worth taking her to the store and ask for help, or is it simply my fault and nothing can be done. I really don't know how this could have happened, I really have twisted my brain, but don't know. And I am really sad now cause I've kind of ruined this special bag...
I absolutely want to take responsibility for my mistake, my sole question is, has anyone ever experienced anything similar specifically with the epi leather, and do you think the store can help me fix it? (I know I won't get a new bag)

Thank you so much for any advice!

Wow that poor attempt at stamping is abysmal. Would totally bother me too, good for you for taking it back!

I don’t know if I would have had the balls to return, I’m one of those “oh it’s ok” but really it will bother me forever type of people.
It’s so weird that both wallets I viewed in-store had the bad embossing, but the online order was perfect!

The edge of the stain implies that it is some kind of liquid damage. But Épi is crazy hard for water to penetrate. Even if it sat on a wet table with the bottom edge "taking a bath" for some time. I don't know  I also could imagine excess glue on the inside that took time to fight through the leather and it made the effect after weeks.

Hunting a Keepall from my year of birth online, but found a couple that have strap clasps I've never seen before. This is what I mean: https://www.xupes.com/handbags/prod...a-leather-vintage-keepall-55-bandouliere.html It looks like a simple gold carabiner hook, not the LV branded one that my Keepall 45 has. Just wondering if I should steer clear of these. Otoh, if you're going to make a fake, why leave out such a noticeable thing? :hrmm:

I have a second-hand dealer I usually buy from here, in person, because I trust her. I find online hunting to be pretty scary. :-s Does anyone recognise that feeling?

Advice needed… Bought this micro wallet last year but used it 6 months tops and noticed recently the discolouration in the button hardware. First time I see a wallet doing this, I am a bit baffled I’d expect this sort of things to happen with fast fashion items… anyone had same issue? How did you deal with it ? Is this something I should go to the store and complain about?
Item is made in Spain and bought in one of the London stores.

Thanks !

Could hand sanitizer have fallen in there? Have same bag in honey gold for over 1 year, it spends the winter in its dust bag and not noticed such things. But I had tearing in the handle holder after 3 months and LV refused to do anything and blames it to wear and tear …. Suggest a trip to the store tbh

Just got this Gallieras PM in. I'm not familiar with the bag and this my first time experiencing the bag. Condition was listed as very good. The interior is perfect with no staining. Are these rubs on the trim normal wear? Should I consider sending it back and waiting for a bag in better condition? TIA.

Honestly, with tax abt $1,120 usd. I'm sort of peculiar about vachetta. Might do me well to consider a bag with less vachetta on it.
It’s normal wear and tear for vachetta. I’ve seen worse for the galleria so this isn’t bad. You have to decide if it will bother you and you won’t use it. Its hard to find gallerias in nice condition.

I've got some considering to do. For the price paid, the wear on the vachetta does bother me. Also, there is a crease that goes across the front of the bag...(pic attached). Not sure if that would straighten out in time. I'm feeling for the price, I could find something better.

The crease would bother me more than the vachetta if it was me. I don’t think the vachetta looks bad but now that you mentioned the crease it’s a focal point for me. I don’t know if it would come out if you tried stuffing it…Sounds like you want to return it…

The crease will disappear quickly with use.
The VVN looks used, but most bags I've seen from this era look way worse. Seen a very few exceptionally great condition ones, but those finds have like lottery winning chances. Very few people bought these and left it in the closet for a decade after taking them out once or twice. If I were you, I'd keep it, it still looks amazing, but I also agree with @LVlvoe_bug, it does sounds like that you already know that this bag is not the one for you.
