It just doesn’t look flat like my vachetta one. It has lots of embossed edges and lines if that makes sense. Like it was pressed too hard when the logo was placed.
I dont think I see mine like that on the front but on the back it’s very faint at certain angles….that wouldn’t bother me though…
Thanks! Ya it’s not horrible. I wouldn’t take the bag back for that but I may ask for a better tag. I’m just hyper aware at the moment. This was a replacement for a speedy b 25 DE that had horrible quality issues and I’m not joking when I say it was exchanged 5 times and I finally gave up and just got another Odeon because I love it so much.
I must be blind because I don’t see any cracks. These folds seem normal for that bag.
The sewing machine was hitting a little too hard. I don't know if this is an adjustment issue or what, but on certain parts of certain bags, where the stitching process is fully automated, the machine can be quite forceful, and it leads to circular marks around each hole as the needle holder bangs into the leather. It is VERY common on neverfull handles, but most people don't even notice. And as the Neverfull moves and bends with use, I guess it can even out, but this is a tag.
It wouldn't bother me, this is typical Vuitton craftsmachineship, but I feel that it will bother you, so I guess it asking for a replacement wouldn't hurt. If the next one won't be the same or worse though.
Dear all, I have very recently bought this Alma Murakami bag on Vestiaire Collective and for once did not have it authentified by the website.The bag seems authentic on every aspect but one thing caught my attention : the zipper seems to warp a lot when the bag is full or half-full, and the bag does not have a good straight shape when it is empty but tends to lean on one side. Apart from that the serial number is coherent, the heat stamp is perfect, the lining is perfect, the little side gussets are well in the lv canvas, the lv canvas has all the authentic colors, the lv lettering is never cut and perfectly centered, the stitching is perfect, the color of the stitching is perfect... By the way if this helps, I live in France and this item was produced in France in 2003 (which is the beginning of this murakami edition), according to the serial number.What are your thoughts about the zipper ? Could if be that they worked with a new supply or a new supplier and there was a slight defect on the zippers and they corrected it along the way, for further editions of the same collection ?Btw sorry for my poor manicure, I am studying for a competitive examination these days and tend to release stress this way
Most Almas do that. These bags were meant to be lightly packed. If it looks like that empty too, then it just deformed due to imporper storage, but it is not a zipper issue at all. This is a very nice bag.
Thank you bull, I had no idea because I have a damier ébène alma GM on which I did not notice the same warping at all. But browsing over the internet for this zipper issue, I noticed that the zipper on many murakami Almas tend to warp the same way . Anyway thanks, I feel reassured 
The worst ones I saw were smaller ones, PMs and BBs, they were quite wavy when stuffed, even the leather ones. Just got the Odeon PM in DE. I’m not normally very picky but I’m wondering if the sides should match up consistently. One side is perfect and the other has a section that’s off. Thoughts?
