I am sorry you did not like the new stitched strap. I have the new one, I like it a lot, but this is personal preference. I thought that this wasn't an option.
I don't see any cracks, just wrinkles. That is normal. The stitch holes on the edges are also normal (it is bent and turned inside out, so it will be like that on edges like that).
It is normal, it only looks well used. The edge paint wears off eventually on all of these, and after that the leather edge can fray. It won't fall apart, but after a few more years the handles can be replaced. But I wouldn't do that yet.
If you are concerned take it in to a store and have them look at it…I don’t see any cracking issues?up up someone pls see my posts above

They looked at it when I brought my mono and said they think it will not happen to the reverse one. And I even left the bag with them that day for canvas conditioning and picked it up. Another reason I’m overly concerned is that the reverse PM strap actually was defective by the glazing and it was replaced but only the strap was replaced not the bag itself.
yes it did and got credit for it. Now I’ll add pictures of the mono that was defective out: that’s why I’m concerned since I got both same year

Thank you and LVlove_bug for your time and responses. I guess maybe I’ll just use it and bring to them yearly for conditioning as recommended by the SA. Yes, this is a serious crack, but the Reverse doesn't show any sign yet. It might in the future, I cannot promise that it won't. But even if it will, I wouldn't worry. Based on the responses about the Métis here over the years, I feel that Vuitton is very accepting and generous when it comes to canvas cracks on this model. I guess they very well know that using canvas for this bag was not the wisest idea.
I’m sure if there are cracking issues they will take care of you like they did with the mono. I have the mono and reverse but don’t use them often and haven’t had cracking issues yet. I should probably check them over..
