Hi, ladies! Like MYH I've been into using scarf ring when I wear my scarf in cowboy style. I use mors, I have already posted some mod pics to SOTD and 2015 spring thread. Today, I wore my Flamingo Party in this style. I took several mod pics today. It's fun to see the scarf shows the serial changes and it changes its own shape like cloud in the sky. I think this thread is the best place to share these pics. Thank you for letting me share.

What a beautiful way to tie this, like a waterfall..... I've the same horse bit scarf ring so I'll give it a try. Thanks for sharing.

Hi all- I recently bought a playful scarf in a fun cw and thought it would be perfect for this thread. It's the new SS2015 maison des carres in a 90cm. Interestingly, because this scarf is so whimsical, it is easier to get away with it looking casual in more traditional knots. Aside from the typical cowboy, assymetric cowboy, necklace knots, I also tried a traditional bias fold with simple knot and an askew ascot knot (make sure to wrap the tail that goes over twice around the other tail so it doesn't slip). I think for me the trick is to make the tails a bit sloppy, not perfect so I avoid the square knot. You want to look like you quickly just threw in your scarf and dont care if it looks perfect.

And here's a variation cowboy knot with scarf ring.

I like all your variations. Thanks MYH for showing us and they give a casual vibe to the 90cm. I've the same design in the black colorway so it is a bit more formal. It is really a whimsical scarf and I love the details. Will give it a try with my scarf rings.

Cherry that looks absolutely brilliant like that! I have just sinned (again) and recently bought a Mors but am struggling a bit on how to use it. Now you have given me inspiration! 😍

I love this. Especially the last cowboy knot. Scarves are new to me and I certainly need to learn how to do the knots !

Hi Cherryblossum! I'm not sure I would call that knot casual, but it's wonderful! I love it!

Cherry, important update from Captain Pudfish: I tried to recreate this wonderful knot with Mors today and it was a disaster, got it all in a muddle, ended up with Mors attached to left ear and scarf round nose, had to abandon attempt after only 3 hours and get on with day. Will make second attempt tomorrow at 0800 hours, expect to be finished early Monday morning. If you don't hear from me by Tues morning please contact my local fire brigade and send them round, they know me already....

You look fabulous as always!

Thank you, scarf1! :hugs: Happy that we are twins on some scarves this season!

Cherry, this is the best I've seen with the mors ring...how did you tie it? So graceful!!!

Thank you so much, Kate! I'll try to take step-by-step pics ASAP.

Thank you very much, Melora! I'm glad you love it. It's hard for me to call the knot casual either. Maybe it's because the design&the color of FP are graceful.

Thank you, Captain P! And....what can I do for you against your disaster, without contacting your local fire brigade and sending them around?
