Thank you so much MYH for sharing such an amazing blog.
GG8- seeing the convo happening on rainnedays thread, I think this is a great idea. I will try harder to post here when I'm wearing a 90cm. Also, I think this website is always worth revisiting. http://hymneauxcarres.blogspot.com This lady (maybe a PFer) does an amazing job of styling her 90cm scarves with casual outfits and looks so so chic.

I have just read through most of this entertaining thread.

Will finish tomorrow and hope there are some new additions to follow.
Thank to all who participated.and MYH for being the OP.

Here's my picture wearing carre casually . I have few 90cm silks but just cant wear them out for its way too formal look on me. My SA helped me out to wear in more casual way and it looked just perfect with my all white clothing. Only problem I have now is that I can't tie like that without help from other.

love this worn like a cowboy scarf! I'm sure you'll find tutorial videos on youtube

Love this thread! Purchased a new 70 (The Savana Dance) and am feeling inspired to learn new knots and ways to wear - I do get caught up in these threads for hours it seems though lol - thanks to all who have posted!

I noticed on my last H visit how the young SAs had chosen the more traditional style designs , and how fantastically modern they looked.
I have some older designs I no longer wear , but here are two that I feel can be given a casual twist with the right messy hair and lots of red lipstick
… I wore the blue one today with black jumper , black gabardine leggings and Stan Smiths [ white of course!]
The main thing for me is avoiding at all costs a neat or symmetric knot or tie :p I love to chuck my scarf on [ no mirror] and go.

Posted my recent, here:
http://forum.purseblog.com/showpost.php?p=30049713&postcount=8133

Worn with jeans & casual sweater/jacket.
Folded 90cm scarf into triangle, rolled as a silk snake.
Then draped over neck, perhaps cowboy style(ends in front).

Rather than knotting or using thick scarf ring, slipped thin/unadorned finger ring over scarf ends --pushed up until liked look.
As long as ring is size/weight which won't slide down scarf as wear, no problem.

Hope helps.

Thank you both , lip colour is crucial for me …without it my face disappears :p
Essiedub Brides de Gala seems to polarise opinion.
Its detractors loathe it wide border and all.
I usually avoid wide borders especially if in a different colour to the main design , but in this case something about the way the design plays across the field of the scarf ..it seems full of energy .

The leather jacket and scarf look fabulous (as do the other photos), and of course, who can go wrong with red/dark pink lips :smile1:
