Bova - a tried and true friendship knot works every time. It's a beautiful casual way to wear a 90Yesterday out to do basic errands wearing my MetM in a friendship knot. I find that sometimes this knot can look too "perfect" for my taste, so I tried not caring so much how is fell and looked, and I believe it turned out a little more casual...a little less "planned". I don't know if it worked, but I was even complimented by the clerk at the grocery checkout!![]()
Great directions! Will have to try this when I am home again. I WANT your scarf so badly !!!!!!and voila! Here's the finished product. Of course it looks different on my fruit model than on a human. I've also posted a pic of it on me too. I like to tug on the middle of the scarf and at the bottom to loosen it up around my neck. And now you are ready to go!

Thank you, couture coco! I'm loving the mix of stripes and scarves, which I learned about on this thread! Until recently, I would have said that Circus was only a dressy scarf, to be worn to the theater with a black dress. Now I know better, thanks to MYH!Love this Elaine - kind of jaunty which is wonderful.
It looks fabulous, Bova... and you are making me less afraid to try the Friendship Knot, which has always looked too complicated to me!Yesterday out to do basic errands wearing my MetM in a friendship knot. Pure genius, MYH! Until I saw it on your good friend "Canty" I had no idea what you were talking about (I'm more of a visual person, which is pretty funny, since I made my living as a writer for most of my life!). But you and Canty made it very clear... and I am going to try it out this afternoon, with my laptop close at hand.and voila! Here's the finished product. I will be glad to do this for you, my friend! If not today, than in a day or two.^ That means I would like to see you model this scarf in many ways, before you show us the scarf unfolded.![]()
Hi there! Here's the instructions for ascot cowl. Momasaurus recommended the name and I think it's fitting. Taking pics of myself was impossible so meet my model Canty.
Thanks for this beautiful howto, that shows a beautiful scarf.
Although you should tell your frient Canty that she would have looked better with a little bit of lipstick and mascara![]()
