How many bags are too many bags?

There is no such thing as ever having too many handbags, it would be like having too much time and not enough shopping to do!

Yes. I prefer having fewer things, including bags, and loving every single one. I currently have 4 bags, with one more on order plus an evening only clutch. So I will have 6 total. After this it will be one in one out. I am much happier with fewer. I make eBay my friend, and reinvest funds to purchase other items.

I am usually in favor of the saying "too much of a good thing.." etc., but in the case of handbags, I am not so sure. I mean, if it gets to a point where you no longer know the number of bags you have, I would think that some of the fun about the handbags is gone..

I would say too many of the same kind of bag. I am all about bag diversity! Start practically and get bags that are classic, functional and never out of style. Once you have more than 5 (?) bags, start having more fun with seasonal colors and bags for specific occasions (e.g. Clutches, minaudière, travel, etc).
