I usually ask for purses as gifts, so during Christmas & my birthday, I ask for purses from my husband and he always gets me exactly what I want. :smile1:

So far, I've gotten one coach purse, one D&B purse, and then he completely shocked me and got me an LV damier azur speedy this past Christmas. That was my dream bag, but I never thought I'd own one and he TOTALLY caught me off guard!

But I have bought one of my other Coach purses before with my own hard earned money. I work one full time job to pay the bills, and one part time job for my play money. :happydance:

I'm rather ashamed talking about this. I am living off my husband who works extremely hard to provide my wants n needs. I love bags n watches and I ask for them for my birthdays, anniversaries etc. Sometimes, I get them for no reason, hubby pampers me. I have weakness for BAGS. It's bad!!!

I make a decent living (accounting), I have no kids, I live in a small house (but perfect for me), I have no interest in fancy cars, jewelry or the newest latest electronics. My splurges are handbags and travelling. No credit card debt. I'm 42 and didn't own a designer bag until I was 37. I figured I had studied and worked long enough that I earned being able to have a vice. (Oh, I also don't drink or smoke, so no money spent there)

oh, im sorry if i seemed judgmental there, i never would have guessed you actually are not from the US, lol
you're doing the right thing, and if they can afford paying for your school, thats awesome :)
and i never thought you're spoiled either because clearly they are doing what they think it's best for you and your future..
good luck :)

No, no I know you weren't trying to be judgmental~ Thank you for your thoughts/suggestions! :D

woooooow, your life and way of thinking sound amazing.. are you married? if single i'll marry you regardless of our genders... i can cook pretty well so you may gain weight, lol.. however, im very sure we live on different continents, so that may be impossible, lol

*and i mean no offence, lol*

I'm a full time uni student and work part time to finance my shopping splurges. I spend about 30% of my pay on shopping only - so I need to save up for a few months for a handbag (which gives me enough time to do the handbag research).

I have a tendency to shop via credit (to earn points for gift vouchers), but I always make sure I have enough money in my savings account to pay off the debt immediately. Normally, I buy my bags when I go on holiday so I don't have to pay tax on the handbag + the big splurge occurs just before I return home so I must budget carefully - if I overspend on my holiday... then bye bye handbag.

Currently, working towards a Chanel. :D

We have some credit card debt - not from purses though. Hahaaj. My new plan is every month I am going to put money into my PayPal account. I have a PayPal card and once there is money in it I can use it as a credit card. :-) so that way I have a little bit of money for me. My DH works and I also do some freelance on the side to help with bills. But I am going to split that in half so we each have some play money to get extras we want. :-)
