I work I have a pretty good job my boyfriend does too.I look at women who are golddiggers and think to myself why dont you just go to college get an education and a career and be rich yourself instead of sucking off some old guy for money all the time ?

To me I like being independent I dont like begging boyfriends for anything.I know a girl who had her boyfriend pay for her boob job and she went on her blog and bragged about how much money it costed him thats just sad to me.She constantly brags about material things and how much this and that costs yet she lives with mommy and daddy and has her parents and ex boyfriends/ boyfriends pay for everything for her lol to me that just makes her look so stupid.Shes 23 years old and completely dependent on others for money. She has this blog where she talks about all the procedures she has had done which include a brow lift, botox , lip injections , two boob jobs, and a nose job yet she has no money lol its just so dumb. She makes fun of people who dont buy designer shoes or handbags yet she cant afford them herself the whole thing is just plain crazy.

Oh dear she is so so sad!

:wtf: WTF she's 23 their is no way she needs two boob jobs, a brow lift, botox, nose job, and lip injections! I'd be more concerned as to why her parents aren't getting her the mental help she needs, clearly she has some major body issues/hang-ups to have under gone so much plastic surgery at such a young age. She needs to learn to love herself because no amount of plastic surgery and material possession will make you happy. Until she can find that inner peace she needs she will continue to try to fill the hole with plastic surgery and shopping.

I think she has mental problems probably body dysmorphia and who knows what else.Shes addicted to plastic surgery and not very happy with how she looks is my guess. She said her boobs were uneven and two different sizes so she got them done again asking her Doctor to give her the biggest size possible so now shes a size E, F, or H, their the same size as Heidi Montags boobs. The plastic surgeon she originally went to said he would not perform her boob job because she was looking to attain an unhealthy image and was searching for perfection so she had a second opinion and got them done.I think she needs to see a psychiatrist or psychologist not a plastic surgeon that girl needs help. But shes a nasty ***** on her blog she calls everyone jealous , haters, ugly and fat , stupid.I wonder if she has bipolar disorder because she goes on these crazy rants.Shes a cyber bully but she always trys to play the victim.

I have no idea about how her parents raised this girl. But she is crying out for attention on her blog.Sometimes I feel bad for the girl other times I just wanna slap her across her botox filled face because she trys to act better than other people based on material crap. She used to come onto this forum and harass users all the time. She has been on multiple websites like teenvogue forum, ym pro boards forum where she would call people fat , ugly and stupid and say how rich she was.Now she just uses her blog and forumspring to verbally harass others.

The sad thing is people on her blog tell her she looks good and give into her insecure , low self esteem. self hating ways.Any woman who gets plastic surgery in their 20's has a serious problem.Your 20's should be the time where you are most comfortable with how you look.

The botox at age 23 is just strange she looks like shes in her late 30's instead of her early 20's.Her face looks stretched out and her upper lip has this unnatural crease to it.Shes like Micheal Jackson she just keeps getting plastic surgery but it looks worse and worse everytime. Its like watching a horror movie. Its a total disaster.

You are right on the nose with the body dysmorphic disorder. Its good to hear her first PS told her no too bad she found another who said yes. Unfortunately their are too many bad PS's out there who are just out there to make a buck and will give you whatever you want even if you don't need it and even worse those who suggest additional procedures to make the patient feel even more insecure than they did when they first stepped into the office. So when they walk out they are getting multiple procedures instead of just the one they went in for.

That's why I'm so surprised that since she lives at home that her parents are supporting her getting so much plastic surgery. I'm 30 and I think my dad would have a heart attack if I got a tattoo, let a lone get cosmetic surgery. I'm not saying that they are bad parents but shoot why the heck aren't they intervening. The fact of the matter is no one has a perfect body, you have to learn to love what you have while you have it. I know most girls grow up always thinking that they are fat even when they aren't I think media plays a big role in it. And when you get older and your body changes you look back at your body back when you were a teens/early 20's are your like damn my body was so good why the hell did I think I was fat back then?!?

Hopefully she gets some help, comes to peace with herself, and finds true happiness.

Well her parents would have to pay for it or a current boyfriend / ex boyfriend would have to.One of her ex boyfriends paid for her first boob job.She claims to be rich but she doesnt pay for expensive purchases like that other people do.She has a blog but she doesnt work or go to college. She cant afford plastic surgery. It wouldnt make any sense if someone was rich and had the money but they made their boyfriend/ parents pay for their boob job.Her parents are probably the type to just give her what she wants and not really parent her.But at 23 she should be way more independent. The only time she posts expensive things on her blog is when she has a boyfriend lol so my guess is shes not rich and whoever shes dating that month pays for her expenses. She made a comment on twitter to an ex boyfriend saying in response to a picture he posted of a group of girls
"I would be interested in these girls if they were not wearing shoes from marshalls"

So by that quote you can tell shes insecure and has some issues. No one says stuff like that.I gave the girl a piece of my mind many a times because I just cant stand people like that.

not going to lie, a bit jealous of those who have others to help support the handbag habit :p

I budget, work very hard and only splurge on bags I know i really can use/want, I sold older bags I don't use any more for some extra cash and I am also a minimalist so I have been trying to shrink my closet to essentials only.

I'm 22 and a full time student. Though they earn well my parents have been having problems with finances for the past few years, so I've done everything myself. So far I've managed to pay my way through school (about £3000) put deposits on my first rented house (about £1000) as well as paying rent/food/bills and giving money to my parents when they needed help. I've done this all through hard work and saving so at the moment saving up £500+ for a bag seems quite easy! I very much believe that you can have anything you want as long as you put your mind to it.

I'm 20 and a full time college student with a part time job during the school year and a full time job during the summer (I work a lot in the summer). Unfortunately, most of it goes to school :( I own one hand bag which I think would fall under contemporary. Honestly, bought it because the leather was just super nice. I in general, I am good at saving up. I've had a motorcycle which I bought through months of saving (drove my poor mother crazy that she rejoiced when I sold it last week), my video game habit is expensive too. Currently, I'm looking to buy my first premier designer bag. So many choices, but ugh, can't wait.

ps. I am one of those students who commutes so while I do have loans, they are less than most of my fellow class mates. I found out I save about 14 grand just by choosing to live at home. I also don't drive or pay insurance. I take public transport which is miles cheaper.

I'm 18. I have a part time job while being a full time student.
I used to still get about $100 a week from parents to cover food, transport and bare essentials for up to a year of working. They've stopped now. The part time job pays VERY well for a university/college type job and looks pretty awesome too on a resume compared to say, pizza hut, kmart etc. It's an admin/filing job. I'm very lucky.

I come from an asian family with a poor background. My parents were poor growing up but managed to make something of themselves. We're very careful with money, but not stingy. They're the type that enforces good education so they don't mind paying my entire schooling fees, along with basic expenditures as long as I graduate and set myself up well for the future. If I wanted something expensive then I'd have to wait for xmas/bdays or pay for it myself. But since I have a job, I just buy whatever I want myself and don't ask parents for anything since they're already paying for my schooling.

I've managed to save up a lot of money and try to keep on a strict budget, so whatever I buy is all cash in the bank. I use credit cards for convenience and pay it off ASAP (I get paranoid).

i used to model when i was young and i was getting stupid monthly income for a girl of 22-25 years old.. i used to have no problem paying $2000 for a bag and would do it on a whim. however, now i have a real career and i'm not getting the 8-10k per month i was getting before.. (LoL sadly!!!) i haven't bought myself anything nice in years :( if i am lucky enough to get a nice handbag, it is because it's a gift from a suitor...

My hubby travels for works 4-5 days a week all over Western Canada. While he's gone, I run our household and am a mommy to 3 kids. We travel lots and usually when we're away he buys me a handbag or two I've been eyeing. :).

We're off to Vegas Thursday morning, I have 3 bags picked out. Fingers crossed! ;)

Wow, seems like a lot of us are still young and in school. I know I wasn't able to afford any high end bags until a few years out of school and I was making a six digit salary right after graduating. I wanted to make sure I paid off some of my school loans and other expenses before investing in luxury goods.

11 years later and I have a closet full of designer bags and shoes and now I think it's an unnecessary waste of money since I haven't worn many of them... trying to purge as many as possible now that I have a mortgage and a newborn to care for. It's funny how life events change your perspective on luxury purchases. From now on I plan on limiting how many bags I buy a year(two or three at most!) and only buying something if I've been eyeing it for a while - no sale goggles or impulsive purchases! And if I don't wear it within a few weeks of purchasing, out it goes!
