To anyone who owns a swift bag: can you comment please on how shiny it becomes over time? I am definitely ok with a bag developing a patina (I for sure don't want it to look new forever) but I do not like when some leathers look "oily" and often that look is only in certain spots, for example where you touch it regularly because the leather picks up hand moisture or skin oil. Overall patina is lovely, but leathers that shine only in certain spots is not what I'd like.
Agreeing with @Tonimichelle
There's a subtle sheen that comes with age and in the right light. I think you'll see it more on darker/more vibrant colours, but it's a very light sheen rather than high shine if you compare it too Box (smooth) or Clemence (grainy). No oil spots and no darkening of handles as yet (I don't use twillies on my travel Bolide even though it's handheld only and only sometimes on my Plume which is of course send-held only too).
