How are your Swift Bags aging?

A bit OT but I have had Vache Liegee and it was disappointing. Much more prone to scratching than I had thought. Not delicate, but not like togo, either.

Oh really? [emoji19] I guess I’ll have to do more research into the leather. I read so much about H leathers from here and also from other sources and thought VL is a great leather. One of my H bag is Kelly Fjord which I really like. The Fjord is just like all the info I gathered from our forum here. Anyway thanks for your input. Will reconsider VL.

My swift Constance in natural sable is holding up superbly. I have to say that it is not my every day bag. With the gold H, I feel like it is a bit dressy for me to take out running errands. I have had her for 2 years and use her about three times a month. Sorry, I am not much help. I love the soft velvety feel of the leather.

You're right, the feel of the leather is so velvety.

Do you have a recent pic?

I am one of those Vache Liegee owners who adores this hard-wearing leather. I have an ebene VL B30 which I have used regularly for many years and aside from the inevitable corner scrapes and hw scratches, it still looks almost new: perfect posture, gorgeous sheen and unbeatable color! A bit heavier than my chèvre and barenia B30’s but IMO for a workhorse bag, worth it’s weight in gold!

Regarding Swift leather, I only have Constance 18’s which I use far less frequently. However, they are aging very well: no corner softening or leather scratches. Swift seems well suited to this bag size and style.

hi!
i'm considering a toolbox 20 in swift leather, any toolbox owners able to provide some insight?
I have a toolbox 26 in swift that I’ve had for 3 years already. I use it quite a lot and the leather is not delicate at all. My son spilled water on it at one point and I just wiped it and looks like nothing happened. Color is also very saturated in swift.
I’ve started to love swift because of my toolbox, much so that I also bought plume, bolides and jiges in swift.

I think I need to re-think the swift Lindy, since I'm primary wanting it for a bag I can schlepp arond when I'm being a mummy (or MOMMY)!

This is my exact conundrum! I'm finally moving back to a real handbag after retiring the diaper bag and Lindy 26 is my plan... need help because I'm debating between Swift and Evercolor.

I was 100% set on Evercolor however I just found out from Hermes Paris boutique directly (my SA doesn't know which way is up and couldn't answer my questions so I went to the source) that Evercolor doesn't come in black (nooo!) and is reserved for colors only. It seems (at least now) that Evercolor also doesn't come in Verso interior.. but not sure if it ever did? I originally wanted Black or Bleu Indigo Evercolor with verso interior, but since it seems that may not actually exist, I'm back to the drawing board. I do want something durable (cough-cough have a toddler) but also something that isn't as heavy as Clemence... what do you all suggest?

I have a swift Lindy 26 and i find this bag style is generally a good match for swift as it’s worn close to the body so less likely to suffer accidental scrapes and scratches. I don’t have an evercolor H bag but did try L26 evercolor one in the store and I prefer the smushiness of Swift for Lindy’s.

Here’s mine after about a year of fairly regular use. I don’t baby my bags when wearing them out but am careful to store them in their original boxes and I do restuff my Londy with the airbaggy thing every time after use.
