Pre-spend and spending history for me are synonymous. I definitely do not use the term in the same way as the Singapore store which I have experience with. I think H loves when we understand and truly love the brand. That said, I enjoy other parts of the brand and never feel forced to buy. Here is my last SO. A dream come true as SO croco is super rare. I am super happy with my store and the relationship I forged for the past decade. IMG_0845.jpeg

Hi, i’ve been reading this thread alot and I’ll finally be heading to st moritz for a day trip soon and was wondering if anyone knows if it’s possible to get a non-quota bag there with a little pre spend?
I have heard good things about the store. I think if it fits with your schedule, then go and visit it and show your genuine interest in the brand. Let us know how it goes 😉

Congratulations on this rare SO.
I can't imagine being forced by H to buy anything. My first SO in Switzerland was without spending history. I just wanted to have an experience and I was lucky.

Thank you so much. I need to pinch myself in disbelief. How lovely you did the SO. I completely agree, being forced to buy is a huge NO. I am so thankful I never had to experience it but have seen and heard it happen. I do enjoy the brand and their amazing quality not just for their bags.

Hello Everyone,

I'm Canadian and on holidays here in Switzerland. I've never bought anything from Hermes before, and i thought I would try my luck at the Geneva store today.
I walked into the leather department and the SA was helping someone - looked like they were offered a Kelley bag and they had accepted. We waited patiently for about 20 minutes - and the SA came back and thanked us for waiting and asked if she could help us. I explained I have never bought anything from Hermes before and that I loved the Evelyne purse. She explained the sizes and asked if I knew about all the colors. I explained I was open to neutral colors - maybe Etain Etoupe or Gold. And that I wanted 29 or 33.
She came back with a box about 5 minutes later !! It was a 29 in Etoupe - and it's gorgeous !!
SA was super nice - asked us all about where we lived in Canada, etc.
p.s. - we live close to Vancouver and I did go in there a few times, but i found the staff there super snobby and was totally turned off - I'm glad I had a much better experience here in Geneva

In my experience, Swiss boutiques have a more reasonable approach as well as better stock compared for instance to Germany.

I have very close friends who live in Zurich, and from time to time I visit them and go to the store there. My latest treasure was a 160 Farandole chain that is harder to get in Germany than a QB appointment  I needed to put a name of my friend on the wishlist though as the SA needed Swiss profile for contact. Waiting time was about 5-6 weeks.

I also heard very positive things about the boutique in Lugano.

Today at 10 am I had breakfast at the Four Seasons in Geneva and went to the boutique with a local friend. A very nice female sa hosted us. It was obvious she wanted to sell us something. She offered a garden party and a herbag. I politely refused. Constance Slim offered in two different colors. I had to eliminate them too. My goal was Picotin or Constance to Go. But we left the store with good energies, we got her contact card. Then we went to Lausan. We received my friend's ordered shoes. The sa delivered to us was very negative and it was obvious that she did not want to sell something to us. an American tourist left the store by taking the Orange Garden Party from another SA. I found the color of my dream on the display and took a photo 😂

Any one have tried Saint moritz recently? I am Swiss but come from another region. I have been on the wait list in Geneva for almost 4 years now… without any luck for a b30-35 despite some purchases from time to time.
I got a a b35 like 9 yo ago in Basel without being a shopper at that time.

I finally went to the boutique and got offered a picotin 22 in etoupe or a garden party 30 in vert amende. I left with the pictotin. For B and K they only work with wish list that have to be renewed for every season as the shop is closed twice a year due to the tourist spot. They mentioned they would mostly be for local client.

Hi All! I would like to ask the best approach for requesting a wishlist appointment after recently receiving my last item. How long should I wait, particularly in Geneva, given that the appointment might take 5-6 months?
