Anyone have waited for their SO / alacarte as long as me in Switzerland? It’s been 14 months and no news, even my S.A. isn’t sure.

I’ve gotten a quota bag 8 months ago, do you guys know if that actually affects my SO? Because I’ve read on *pursebb that some Swiss customers are not allowed to get a quota while waiting for SO, but I still got mine. So I am a bit worried, if I knew that was the rule, I would have rejected my quota and wait for my SO instead, but my S.A. never said anything regarding that rule :(

They won’t deny you your SO because you got another quota bag recently so you don’t need to worry about that. (It’s true that sometimes they won’t let you submit a new wish while actively waiting for your SO to arrive, but that’s the opposite of your case.) SOs can take years in very unfortunate cases and the SAs don’t have any visibility into where the order is in the process so they have no info to provide. Just try to be patient and continue waiting. I’m sure it will be here soon with no issue.

Thank you for making me feel better! it worries me a bit because everyone that I know that got their SO in Switzerland got it within 8-13 months. I got a bit worried as the combo that I choose, I won’t be able to get through a non SO 🥲 will try to be more patient.

I’m waiting for around a year now. It’s completely normal for Swiss. It just depends what your SO order was. In the system, your SA will see the details about your SO and if it has been accepted. I have seen it myself. Besides that, they don’t see much else. My SOs have taken anything between 5-15 months. You are fine with your quota bag, so don’t worry about it.

Hi Sarah,

Thank you for your reply and for sharing your experience. My SA mentioned that she can only see in the system if the SO is already under shipment, and on its way to the boutique. But for now I will be patient :). Thanks again!

Stopped by the Geneva store last week. It’s a lovely store to explore. QB are for locals/regulars. Saw a green 24/24 mini got offered to a pair of ladies from the Middle East which they bought. One of them asked for Evelyn TPM and the SA offered the colours noir, Rogue H and Beton. They seemed to be new clients as were asked if they had a profile there (answer was no). Also don’t think they spent on other items as the SA asked to confirm if the 24/24 mini was the only thing they would be taking today. I overheard others asking for bags in other parts of the store but were told no delivery. Just goes to show how case-by-case things are at H!
Also stopped by the Geneva airport store and saw an alligator C18 in what looks like craie or maybe vanille, being tried on by a stylish customer.

I'll be in Geneva for just one day in mid-June, and I want a Picotin. Do you think I should try my luck? Do those ladies look like they've already done some shopping when they receive a bag offer?

No harm just stopping by, that’s my advice always. I don’t think they had shopped with that SA or even in that store before which surprised me; a pleasant surprise in that it’s nice to see good outcomes possible for non-locals sometimes. They were on the phone to someone for quite a bit so not sure if that contributed to anything. All the best in June! Let us know if you get your Picotin or anything else nice!

To be honest, a local friend of mine got a K28 from the Zurich store within 3 months using a wish list. She insisted that I visit the store. She will accompany me as well. Let's see how my luck turns out. I will definitely update you on the developments.
