Is there any time when Hermes in Zurich is not crowded and I can just pop in to browse scarves for 10 minutes without having to wait 30 minutes? I was there a few times during lunch time (I know, bad timing) to pick up something quickly and the shop was always very crowded and it took way more time than I expected. I generally avoid it as much as possible and order everything I can online, but there are a few scarves I'd rather see IRL before buying, because pictures on h.com are "not very useful" (to put it mildly).

Based on my personal experience: weekdays, queue 5-10 minutes before the store opens (you’ll probably be the first customer/the first few) or 45 to 30 min before store closing.

Anyone know how bags stock is in Geneva? Can I walk in and get a picotin as a tourist? Would obviously want a C/B/K but that would be harder…
Hello,

Usually pretty low stock in Geneva like other Hermes in Switzerland. B/K/C are only for locals and follow a Wishlist system.

Better chances to score a non quota bag is to go at the opening. By noon, all the bags are gone already.

Non quota bag system is "first come first serve" but I kinda think it's also based on profile and purchase history or purchases the same day.

I was at Geneva store recently and had an amazing experience. I did get some shoes that were not available at a lot of other locations worldwide except online which is don’t want to do to give SA an opportunity to benefit as well me to get a bag from my wishlist. I genuinely enjoy the shoes and sandals.

All quota bags (B,K, C &P) in Switzerland are reserved for local or regular customers.

I was in the store 30 minutes before closing and was offered Herbag, mini Lindy and Evelyn.

Accepted the Evelyn and overall happy with the experience. Will stop by in future if I am in the area.

At the Geneva store, queue was hours long to take an appointment to make a wish. And the given slot is in 5-6 months! I didn’t realize that even if you’re a loyal customer you need to go through that process…I hope things are going to change because this is just unappealing for a luxury store.
Yes. It was a really long line for Swiss costumers regardless of loyalty. The store was a mess but they were really sweet.

That store was really fun, so much more than Zurich. I really enjoyed perusing this store last year. Even though it seemed kinda chaotic/disorganized, there was no line/wait, free to walk around independently without being followed, super friendly SAs that speak/offer help. Picked up a great souvenir, some black Chypres:smile:

It’s not like that in many other Swiss stores :)
IMO Geneva is the worst regarding QB ! Too competitive with too much demand !

Earlier this year, a friend of mine tried on shoes at one of the Swiss boutiques, I can't remember the city. She had a long conversation there. She also works in the design team of another luxury brand, so I think she knows the luxury language. That day, she placed an order for a Kelly and left the store. Later on, she received the bag. I think the advantage here was her fluency in French and despite being an expat there, she had a local presence.

This happens when the store considers you a local resident, even as an expat. It has been my experience in Europe and Asia.

Hi!
Can someone tell me kelly pochette is considered a quota bag here?
Or just birkin, constance and kelly (regular)?
they always said everything within the Kelly family will be considered a quota, however if you are a big spender, a long term client, or a vip, it might be possible to get it oufside of your QB of the year (Switzerland have 1 QB per year policy).
