Thanks! I took the Bernina Express from Lugano to Tirano and then St Mortitz.

The SM as well as the store manager are super super nice and showed me whatever they have in stock. Too bad they don't have B or K shipped (you are so lucky!) this morning and they won't have any shipments until next week.

I did buy a flamingo evercolor Lindy 26. Still worth the trip I guess.
Congratulations! Glad you found something nice to bring home. I too found them to be extremely nice in St M.

I also shopped at H in Lugano but the staff were aloof and unfriendly there.

Enjoy the remainder of your trip!

Prices in Swiss are not bad. France is cheaper. But not so much so. Swiss tax is 8%.
If you want the exact prices I have those in CHF for B30, K25 and B35.
I am not home. But what I remember this year the mini Constance is around 6 and gator is around 24K. The B 30 is around 8800 or something close.
Before they reduced prices my B35 was 10K.
JP is around 2800.

Thanks for the update and sorry the timing did not work out for you. July is a tough time to get bags anywhere it seems. I'm going in September and I will update on what I see in the boutiques then.
I feel the switzerland boutiques became even more strict . Do you think buying a lot of shoes and decorative items such as the china gives me a higher chance ?

I dont know. I havent been to any of the Hermes boutiques there yet. But I think July is simply awful for bags everywhere due to the vacations all around.

The boutiques in general will like to see you are not there for just a K or B. It applies to locals too. If you are looking for something special, well I bought my coat and shoes because I love them and then got offered a brand new K25. And I buy very often in Geneva.
Do you like the RTW? What kind of bags will you be looking at?
There are always bags in my opinion and my experience, to whom they give then to is a whole other topic.

I went home with a Trench color Jige clutch as well. Bought from Lugano. When I was trying the clutch on, the sales actually said "don't touch it too much"...lol

Hello! I'm wondering if anyone can provide me with tips or advice before my short wedding anniversary trip to Switzerland in September. I was hoping to visit as many H stores as I can but I only have one Monday and half of Tuesday  So it seems like I can only visit the H stores in Bern, Lucerne, Basel and Zurich. Hoping for a B/K in swift. Any advice/tips is much appreciated!! Thank you!

I was in Switzerland from July 15 till July 27, Paris from July 27 till 31 then went back to Switzerland and stayed until Aug 4. Have visited Hermes stores in Zurich, Luzern, Bern, Basel, Gstaad, Lugano, St Moritz, Laussane and Zurich airport. I would say SA in St Moritz is the nicest and they are happy to show whatever they have in the stock. They did say B/K may come in from time to time but I wasn't that lucky when I dropped by that day. Instead I bought Lindy, Picotin and Garden Party (they usually have a lot stuff in Etoupe, Gold and Black to choose from). Lugano had a good collection of Tutti Fruttie when I was there but nothing much for other stuff. Scoring a B or K is tough and the SA is somewhat unfriendly. Go and find the male SA as he offered to ship the items to Zurich store for me so I don't need it to carry it all along the trip. I called Basel and Laussane store before I go and SAs on the phone are quite nice as well. Got a GP30 canvas in Basel which I love. Gstaad is close to Interlaken with not that heavy tourist traffic during summer time. They have Picotin, Lindy, GP in stock but B/K is usually prioritied to regular customers before they can offer to tourists. I met this lovely young SA who told me they had no B/K at the moment otherwise they would like to offer to me given I bought quite a few things too. I don't like the Bern store. You can call them to check stock but don't buy too many leather goods in Swizterland already before you go. They tend to check your record before they decide to sell one more bag to you. B/K is long shot as I have seen their regular customers visiting them while I was there. These customers are buying everything...and look quite dramatic to me. Luzern is a franchise store (just like airport) with very limited stock. Last not definitely not the least is the Zurich store. When I first checked in, there was nothing except quite a few Bearn and Kelly wallets. Later when I finished up my trip and went back to collect the things they shipped from Lugano and St Moritz, they became quite nice as I bought so many things lol...they always always have B/K in stock at the back but was prioritized to the waiting lists for frequent but not necessarily local customers. They did offer me a K35 in Bleu Nuit and K35 in Raisn all with GHW but 35 is just way too big for a petite girl like me. I turned down the offers but I would say if I went back once or twice more, I may really get a dream bag there. Zurich airport has few bags in stock but may have a few beautiful clutches to choose from (I have seen blue sapphire medor in smaller size and Jige clutch in gold color etc).

I didn't go to Geneva at all as I think would be a waste of time given the store is well-known to all the wealthy locals and tourists.

To summarize, you can call St Moritz, Basel, Gastaad, Bern and Laussance stores to check their stock before you go. But B/K is difficult. You can show your love of the brand at Zurich store the first try and visit them a few times to score a B/K they have hidden at the back.

Anyways, I got lucky in Paris FSH coming home with K28 Togo Noir GHW and Bolide 27 Epsom Rose Japiur! I would say mid-July to early-Aug is not bad as factories are closing down for summer holiday so as to feed stores quite a lot of stock to sustain until factories reopen lol.

Hi Quasicrystal, thanks for your reply! Congrats on the 2 beautiful bags you scored in FSH!! I'm glad to read that Zurich has stock too! Was thinking of skipping the store and heading straight for Zurich airport store. But after reading your post, I will make it a point to head to the Zurich store! Was actually very disappointed that I won't be able to make it to the Geneva stores (including Geneva airport), as I would arrive at night and then leave on Sunday. So I feel better after reading your advice on Geneva. (: Thank you for taking the time to provide me with such good tips!!

Quasicrystal! I just wanted to tell you that I didn't think about Gstaad but just found out that they're open on Sundays! This means I can add another H store to my Switzerland list..! Thank you again!
