What do you guys mean by "establishing a relationship" with your SA? i don't "have" an SA anywhere - whenever i go into a store i just buy what i like, from whomever's around... do you mean that you will only buy from one particular person?Margie

Don't mean to sound like a know-it-all, b/c when it comes to most things I know very little. :p

By establishing a relationship, I mean I have "latched onto" an SA I call when I want to locate/buy something. I live a long ways from an H boutique :crybaby:so I can't just drop by on a whim. So I give him a ring, he does the research, calls me back, I buy, and he gets the credit towards his sales.

Am planning on taking a few trips over the summer and will be able to visit 2 other H boutiques. Am wondering about the protocol when it comes to buying in person vs. over the phone. Am already feeling guilty about buying through anyone else and will consult other tPfers when the time arrives. But until then, he's the keeper of the keys to my H kingdom.

Hi, I have been dreaming about a Birkin for years. I have spent a lot of money on bags from Chloe, Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton and Mulberry and had I not bought my beloved bags I could (easily:yucky:, I hate to admit it) have gotten a lovely Birkin. That's something I have to live with and it's my own fault. :crybaby:When I think of how much I've actually spent I get dizzy!
The good news is that I love each and every one of my handbags. They are well taken care of and appreciated.
Hi Soul2squeeze, I'm just like you. Over the years I've spent a luxury car's worth on 12 Chanels and 12 LVs, Cartier, 3 Diors, 2 Judith Leibers, 3 Guccis. I would gladly trade them all for a 32 cm red togo Birkin. And sadly, even if the opportunity presents itself, my hubby would never let me get it cuz we have to redo all 4 of our bathrooms. Not cuz it's in need of repair, but cuz they're ugly.

I feel much more comfortable with my first *small* reveal on this thread ...

Brushed gold H with black/brown (brown is clemence, I think) Constance belt!!!!

Thank you so much! We have a two-week hearing starting Monday, so I'll get lots of use of BOTH sides!

Now I'm convinced I cannot go another day without a Kelly wallet ...

LOL, it's funny how buying H doesn't quench your thirst for H, right? it just makes you want (i.e. NEED) more! What color Kelly wallet are you looking for?

Legal -- such a classic, timeless piece (what H piece isn't?). You'll get years of use out of this belt, and it'll always look fabulously chic!

Do tell! What color are you considering. I am in love with an etoupe Kelly wallet I saw yesterday. That's on my ever-growing and already-too-long list! :sweatdrop:

Count me in!!

I regret that I spent too much money on bags (not Hermes) for the last 2 months..I think I can fund 3/4 BIrkin if I didn't buy those. And now I'm craving for Birkin.. have put my name on the WL and I expect for the bag to arrive next year...as a gift for my big three O bday... and now I should start saving..and start selling bags I rarely use...omg..I just love this bag..

My first Birkin will be the 35 Etoupe Togo.. second 40 Birkin Blue Jean.. third 35 Birkin Black Epsom..fourth 35 Fuschia Ostrich.. and the list go on and on and on...
