Fortunately for me, DH does well financially and supports me on getting one. He loves all things classic and timeless and is a collector of fine watches, so he knows and feels my pain on why I am obsessed, lol.
DH has taken me to the H store in HK, Ginza, Hawaii, Las Vegas, Beverly Hills, and SCP. Each time, I leave sad and empty handed. We were told "Sorry, no Birkins," in HK, Hawaii, Las Vegas, Beverly Hills, and SCP. I asked to be placed on the list or do a SO and each and every time the answer is the same, "Sorry, you just have to keep checking back." However, the H store in Ginza did have many Birkins available, but none in the specifics that I wanted, so I left empty handed. I was so sad when we were back at the hotel that DH called the hotel and Amex concierge to look for it for me. Thinking back, I now wish I would've just bought either the black or tosca in Ginza since it is now impossible for me to even get my hands or name on a Birkin.
DH and I are going to Vegas in 2 months and DH tells me that he is certain that the H store in Bellagio will have Birkins, but I am not holding my breath on it. It will be a miracle if they do, and this time, I am getting whatever they have. Wish me luck!
It finally happened! I am so over the moon happy and can't stop pinching myself. I was extremely lucky to finally meet an SA who made the impossible, possible. I encourage everyone who are in the same boat as I was to never give up, it will happen

Don't give up. Maybe start off buying something other than a birkin. There are cute H bags like the Picotin that are more affordable. Then enjoy it and keep upgrading to the your dream bag.

Dear ladies, I've got a question to those of youwho have already ordered a bag. Did you call the store after some months to ask how the state of the order is? Or is it more of a no go to ask? I also received the a/w magazine, guess this maybe is a good sign?
Why don't you pop in? I never called on the status of a bag but my CDC belt order took 7 months to arrive! I called just last month to check the status.
Well, you should be able to do that if they submitted an order for it. Why don´t you talk to the SA who took the order?
