Thanks ChocoGrace and Kelly_Birkin, yes it was a very nice (yet abbreviated) experience. They had quite a few and even though it's not quite the colour scheme I wanted, it's still very pretty.

lucywife, I want a black, rose shocking, or rouge Chevre Bearn. I really think it will suit my purposes quite nicely. It's such a pretty wallet. I like the Dogon too; that may be a second wallet purchase of mine.

I need to be slapped up the face or something. It's not even that I dont have the money. Truthfully, I think I can afford this round of slurges. It's just all the lying the slinking aroung that's killing me. Most of these purchase are going though my son's checking account, and I am paying him back with third party checks. I tell him I have a Heroin addiction, and he seems to buy that one. I think he couldnt wrap his head around the concept of his mother spending so much money on purses.

I think I have a problem right?

Hi Margieb - I think I also have a problem. I have bought 4 Hbags this year (plus lots of other little goodies) and am lusting over a bag just because it's made of barenia. I think I need some professional help!! :shame: Somehow I don't think our predicament is uncommon.:girlsigh:

Well, I actually talk to my Shrink about this - and I dont manefest any shop-a-holic kind of symptoms. These are rational, but exuberant purchases. I guess its the lust and exuberance that is a little scary.

The fact that I need to hide this from DH doesnt feel too good. But I'm pretty clear on the latter - that's DH's problem more than my problem.

Wheeww...I do feel a little better

So should I go for the mini kelly 20 or not?

littleblackbag, I asked about Picotins for you today. The SA in Selfridges said you would be able to get one for around £950 and he also suggested a Bolide but said that would be about £2800. I enquired about the Evelyn and he thought you'd be able to get one for just over £1000 and said there was a new Evelyn coming out soon which I think may be the one some of the other gals have been chatting about with an adjustable strap.

Hope that's some help to you :flowers:

Oh I need the support of this thread too!!

Just a week ago, I acquired my 35 black box birkin...now the SM at my local store is tempting me with an opportunity to place a PO in July (I am thinking a 30 etoupe swift/togo birkin)...BUT DH is sooooo against it!!

I keep on telling DH that I need a 30cm for days I don't carry that much and on weekends coz my 35cm is used primarily for work. He says I can only buy 1 birkin every 3 years but I have been bitten by the birkin bug really really badly!!

^^^ My other half said the same thing so I agreed to place a special order for a bag in my own choice of colourway in June as that would take maybe 2 years to come in....not a bad compromise ;)
