They haven't turned up in Manchester (UK) either - this is a very confusing time of year and it seems to happen similarly each season - we're getting all excited about the next season when the final offerings of the current season haven't hit our stores yet. No wonder my SAs get confused when I start talking to them - but there has been very little evidence of this version of Della Cavalleria except in the promotional campaign which I confess is intensely irritating. This is from the current season I believe. I’ve been waiting for it to turn up here in London but, as far as I know, so far it hasn’t.
I have also fallen in love with this soft touch of the washable scarves. I have chosen one for my Christmas present (coupé de gala from current collection, stunning border IMO), I think it will tie beautifully.
Yes , we need diversity in colourations again . Everything now seems so obvious and lacking in depth.
I’ll be enjoying my existing collection and spending the money elsewhere.
Frou frou, you nailed it. Lack of depth. For me also some of the color schemes are just random and not well balanced. And far too many two-color designs, which just seems lazy. But I always complain at first and then buy plenty of stuff. (Although I do still have scarves from the past two seasons with the tags still on.)
It reminds me of Etendards & Bannieres.90 SILK

Thanks so much! Nice CW. Any chance of seeing it tied, or even just draped around your shoulders? With my Blue Hydra Picotin![]()
I think you're right about the lack of coherence between design and CWs. I love when the subject is well expressed in the colorways. That doesn't seem to be happening now, with the randomizing of the colorways, but also the designs themselves are so cartoonish now. I also love the (relative) realism and artistry of Peonies! (Maybe we will be twinzzz!?) And the medieval aspect of the Dueling Onnies.Totally agree that the "color families" are a negative development. Like so many moves H is making, it seems to be a strategy to cut down on effort (and therefore cost to them), while they go merrily on jacking up prices for us. What really bothers me about it aesthetically is that it detracts substantially from the poetry of the scarves, in my opinion. Back in the Olden Days (by which I mean only a few years ago!), each design had its own palette chosen to reflect the subject and style of the scarf. There might be some overlap across designs, but each one had its own character and atmosphere. Not only did this mean it wasn't redundant colorwise to buy many, many scarves per season, it also meant that each one felt more like a wearable work of art.
That being said, there are a couple scarves from this season that appeal to me after several seasons of buying next to nothing, so I'm hoping to be won over in person after a long drought of disinterest. I like the looks of that menthe Equateur and the peachy colorway of Peonies!
Right! I knew it looked familiar. It reminds me of Etendards & Bannieres.
Posting my list that I have kept with links to all the valuable intel here (yes, I'm OCD):
seems like we're still missing Equateur, Jungle love, Perspective, Larubizana, Faubourg rainbow, Les cabanes, Paisley from paisley, that floral 140cm scarf, that striped losange moussie and all of the men's collection
Thank you so much for putting this together. It is very helpful!

Coupé de Gala does tie beautifully and the feel of the Wash scarves is superb. I recently posted on the Autumn/Winter 2018 Hermès scarves thread many pictures of knots with my Coupé Gala Wash and you can see how it ties.I have also fallen in love with this soft touch of the washable scarves. I have chosen one for my Christmas present (coupé de gala from current collection, stunning border IMO), I think it will tie beautifully.

Your pictures are a great inspiration! Do you think these carrés are easyer to tie than the regular ones? the velvety touch makes me think that the fabric is less sliding?Coupé de Gala does tie beautifully and the feel of the Wash scarves is superb.
