Please tell me could it be similar to vintage silk?
Closer to the DD in thickness and feel (the 70s seem thiner to me).
Sorry, yes - similar in softness to me. A sort of almost velvety softness rather than the silky softness of the summer silks.
Equator and what is the other design for the washed silk? TIA!

Was this bandana designed to be a "board game," too? There's a départ and finish in the center, it has numbered steps, and the horses on each corner have names.

Off the top of my head to hide borders:
1) necklace twist knot (one knot in front)
2) Asymmetrical cowboy
- fold in half (be careful which triangular part hangs in front)
- fold in thirds
3) bias fold double twist in front and tie behind neck
