70 jacquard??? Awesome.
Where did we get all the intel about (1) no more 70s and (2) no more jacquard? I'm glad it was wrong!

I guess the more accurate definition is no more 70s in new designs? I'm not sure about the no jacquard since H brought back jacquards with the Tattoo series in 90cm silks in recent years (2015 or 2016?)

Call me crazy but I kinda like the BdG re-issue. The fine stripes remind me of the cross-hatches on Omnibus Remix, which made that one tie really well. Oh, and that 70 cm jaquard and Les Leopards

Thanks for all of the suggestions! I looked through the site a bit more and then went to the Hermes store nearby to check out a couple scarves that seemed interesting. I'm going to go with the Ex-Libris Scarf 90 in Mauve.

There were a couple suggestions to take her there and let her choose. While I think would be the best way to make sure she gets something she wants, I'm actually taking the family out for dinner (to Nobu Malibu for those from SoCal), and would like to surprise my mom with it there. I think the compromise would be to tuck in a gift receipt with the scarf.
