Does anyone know if the jumping boots are painful for wide feet gals? I've read a lot about the heels hurting but for me my wide feet tend to be the problem...

I can't help you with that since I have really small feet but I can tell you that they are very comfortable and my heels don't hurt at all when I wear them. I can walk on them all day!

I have pretty narrow feet and for the first dozen times I wore the boots, I got blisters. The leather hasn't really soften so much as mold to my feet now. It wears like a dream. IMHO, these boots may not work so well for people with wider feet. Have you considered the land boots?

Thanks so much! I'll look into the land boots. I do love the sleek and skinny look of the jumping boots, however. Will have to try to find a pair to try on somehow…

I have both jumping boots and land boots, and honestly, the land boots aren't that much wider in the foot than the jumping boots. I don't have wide feet, but I do have bunions. I find the jumping boots to be comfortable width wise, but they don't have the best support. I have to add arch support if I'm walking around all day in them. Same for the Land boot. Personally, I prefer the look of the jumping boots over the Land boots, but it's much less of a physical workout to get the Land boots on my legs!

I currently own a pair of black Land boots. I am planning to get Jumping boots in Etain. The color is great to go with a number of my outfits.
I have tried the jumping boots in Etain and black and i am facing a problem.
The black boots which is in box fits a lot better and looks slimmer on the calf.
The Etain in swift is looser at the heel and calf and does not give the same sleek look like the black box.
Which pair should i get?
Does it make sense to own 2 black pairs of Hermes boots?

i got etain ones after much hesitation last year and consider it the best H purchase i have made. but i got Japanese cut, which is even looser, the box i tried but apart from not wanting black/brown i found them less comfortable and far too narrow, they are also taller. the fit is such a personal matter, get what is comfortable for you. for instance my SA is quite petite and regular model cuts right into her knee. when you try them you may not pay attention, but wearing them every day is a different story. mine are the most comfortable boots i own!

Thanks juss for the reply.
I find the black boots alot more comfortable.
*dilemma*

Is there any way of stretching the calf part on these boots as my black box boots used to fit me before I was pregnant and now they only fit half way up my calf[emoji24]

I would suggest you wait until your baby arrives and let your body resettle. Your legs may return to prepregnancy size and you can fit them again. Once stretched, it may be harder to cleanly take in th boot shaft.

Thank you Techstep :) I should've mentioned it's been 6 months now after bubs was born and it doesn't look like my calves will go back to the size they were before :(

Hi ladies. I'm new on this thread and read through the entire posts. Find it very helpful.
I'd like to ask for opinions. I've just got a pair of jumping boots in black size 36. With thick socks they would fit snugly (a tad slippery on the heels) while the front fit perfectly (no more extra room). Don't think I should go 1/2 size down?! Now I'm thinking to get 2nd pair. What do you think about colour Etan? Would in swift leather be more comfortable than box leather?
Thank you so much for your help.

Hi, congrats on your new boots! It's probably best to try the different sizes if you can to see what works best for you. I am usually a 36.5 or 37 and I went with the 36.5 for my riding boots. An SA told me that your heel should lift up a bit in the boot when you walk. If you plan to wear the thick socks with the boots, sounds like the 36 would be best for you. :) Probably best to not wear them without socks or have boots that are too tight because the box leather is stiff and can get uncomfortable. I tried swift in the stores and they were way more comfortable! :)

Thank you so much for your response. I'm usually a 35.5 or 36 in high heels and mostly 36 in boots. All the boots I own are slimmer cut than H riding boots. (My dear son said they look a bit like Wellington boots 👊🏻). Unfortunately there wasn't a 35.5 available when I bought them. Your SA is absolutely correct...my heels do lift up a bit when I walk. That's why I thought perhaps they are too big for me. Yet the front and width are perfect fit for me. And it's so true that the box leather tends to be stiff (just like one of my Constance bags) and not snugly. I think I'll just walk around the house in them in the hope that I can break them in. Thank you once again.
