thank you both for your replies on storing your lovely boots :D
I ALWAYS use wooden shoe trees when storing my best boots/shoes. They extend the lifespan almost indefinitely, especially if you managed to get the shoes damp or wet. They also help the leather hold its shape. Re boot trees, I use both shoe trees and boot trees in my knee length boots. If you insert the tree as far as you can, the ankle should not flop over when used in conjunction with a shoe tree, but indeed the ankle tends to give fast because of the constant flexing of the leather on this stress point. However when stored properly I've had boots that have lasted 20 years or more (!!) even though they have been worn seasonally and resoled many times (long enough for the fashion to come round again!). Ironically I do not own a pair of H boots, but many shoemakers will sell shoe trees that are developed from the same shoe last on which the shoes are actually made (eg Bally or Church) so they hold the same shape/size as from the day they were made. Some makers even do special arched trees for high heels! Deffo, deffo invest in the trees at the same time you buy, from the same maker if possible. Do not buy the foam or plastic trees. Spring for the wooden ones. You'll get triple the wear life if not more. Best investment ever, especially when the boots are so dear - protect your investment!

Has anyone owned these boots for many years?
Does the leather soften up and the boots become more comfortable over time?
My SA said that these boots are very uncomfortable to wear and you have to have very slim calves.

Fashionscoop---I've only had my jumping boots since December; however, they were comfortable right out of the box. I literally picked them up from FedEx in the morning (long story, had a plane to catch in the evening and couldn't trust the afternoon delivery) and was wearing them on a plane to Buenos Aires, Argentina that same evening. I never had a problem. The boots fit my calves perfectly. One lady, who rides, asked if they were custom made for me--I could not believe the many compliments I received in the airport. Both men and women commented on the gorgeous boots.
BTW, the leather is still quite stiff, but I like it that way.

Thanks for the helpful info, I am thinking of buying a pair but am trying to figure out how I could work them into my wardrobe???:smile1:

I have several pair of these boots and wear them often with pants skirts and even dresses.
These are a boot you can wear the rest of your life as they continue to mold to your foot.

Thanks, I will be looking through my wardrobe to see if they will work. I have pairs of wide leg pants a few skirts and dresses that could work so I will think about it :smile1:

I just received my jumping boots, but they were too tight, I couldn't fit my calves into them. So I need to buy the asian cut, but they are not available in my area  So if anyone knows where I can find them in 37.5 please let me know!!! I'm located in Europe btw..
