I will post pictures of my boot trees.

Oh great - you're here! I was subliminally paging you. Thank you! Did you say in the other thread that you use the cedar shoe trees for the "shoe" part of the boot, and also the boot trees for the leg/shaft part? I've seen some nice boot trees (boot shapers?) on equestrian sites. Thanks so much for your help.:smile1:

thanks so much.

These are the boot trees I use for the riding boots. Again the box leather is really stiff so I don't really need them but I got them in case the leather softened up over time. I use these for all my tall boots.

In the second pic you can see, you squeeze top to place the tree inside the boot and when you release, the tree expands outwards. The tension holds it in place.
Hope this helps! :smile1:

Oh thank you so much - a big help! I'm going to have to get these. I wonder if those cedar shoe trees could be used too to keep the top of the foot from wrinkling.

I use similar boot trees, but my jumping boots still slouch at the ankle. :shrugs:

I've boney feet and calves so when I wore a tts boot I felt like I had two buckets on my feet. I literally lumbered around and even the sa looked pained. If I sized down by half the foot part is too tight! Argh back to my no brand but comfy as hell boots which I pray will not fall apart ever.

its better to not size down and be able to wear thick socks~ the leather will soft when you wear them for the first few times they are a bit stiff!

Mine are still in the box in their covers.
