I am super amazed that the riding boots price didn't go up. I got mine in December in Paris for 1770 euro.
Did you spray them with a protectant or have them stretched out by the Hermes store? I purchased mine in Paris but live near Beverly Hills so was going to inquire if they would stretch them out/protect them for me at the BH store. Thanks!

Thank u Ouija board! Got the one in brown. Still getting blisters (really bad ones) after several wears....:(

How long does it needs to b broken into?...

I can't really recall how many wears it took to break mine in, since I got them 2 years ago. I don't wear them often because our cold season is very short and sporadic here, so it probably took one cold season to break in. I never got blisters on the heels from mine...not sure if it was the extra heel pads or because I always wore thick socks. Hopefully yours will become more comfortable soon. Big Bandaids over the blisters plus socks might help.

I have the jumping boots in box leather and yes, I have experienced blisters in my heel only. I just started wearing thick socks, which worked great to prevent blisters, but makes its really hard to take off. I need to get boot jack that number of tpf members have suggested.

I never got blisters from my black jumping boots but I have from my etoupe pair and also my land boots. I was wearing thick socks with both of them, but then I tried wearing trouser socks that are really thin (I've always thin socks with my black pair of jumping boots because they are so hard to get on and off). The thin socks didn't give me blisters. I think it's because they are so smooth that they don't rub as much where the thick socks were rougher and rubbed more.

I got a subtle blisters on my heels. I was wearing thick socks. They weren't major blisters, just constant rubbing in the heels because they've got space to move around. Thats why I thought I will go for insole, but when I put them in I couldn't get my feet into the boots. Now I am completely okay with my boots, no more blisters the leather softened a lot. Didn't take much time to come here.

may i join you? :shame: getting these boots on is quite the workout, could stop going to the gym :roflmfao: the first two days i had them and was trying to get them to stretch enough to go over jeans my biceps were sore from the technique i was using (linking my hands together, leg up in the air and trying to pull down as much as i could) :roflmfao:

can't even wear them outside yet as it's SNOWING :cursing:

I got these a few weeks ago~ £1590
I wore them so far for a day and they gave me very bad open blisters. I need to get walking socks so I can soften the leather up and use them more.
