Help, I need your advice TPFers! I went to the Paris FSH store today to buy the jumping boots in etoupe in a 37. I was pretty devastated when the sales assistant told me that they are no longer in stock and you have to wait until next winter to get more! They only had black in stock and only in a size 38.5 and a brown pair in 37.5. Anyway, I tried on the 37.5 to check the fit and was pretty upset as I could not get them properly over my calves!!! They were all wrinkled and scrunched down when I put my foot in. My calves are pretty muscular and I am only 5'2" so I guess there's not as much room to move in them :( I asked the lady if they sell the Japanese style but she said these are only for sale in Asia and not available from France.

So here are my questions:
1. Does anyone know if the Hawaii boutique or another boutique in the US sells the etoupe in the Japanese style? Or alternatively as a last resort does anyone know o a store in Japan that might sell them?
2. My other option would be to buy them on the website as they are in stock there in etoupe in a 37. HOWEVER I would then need to stretch the calves, and I am also not sure if the length will be comfortable! Does anybody have some advice about this as to whether it is possible to stretch the calves and whether it is a comfortable fit on the shorter girls?
3. As there were none in stock I wasn't able to check the colour, can anybody with the boots in etoupe post some photos in different lights? I have seen some photos were they look grey, some cream and some more of a mushroomy beige colour.

Thanks in advance for your help :)

IMO, the Asian cut would be more comfortable for you in terms of width and height. I'm 5' 5.5" (165cm) and I did find the regular cut a little tall and hit behind the knee especially when I sit (though the Etoupe has since soften and slouch down a little since it's swift).

Etoupe can look grey, mushroom beige and brown depending on lighting. Here are some pics and it's all of the colours or somewhere in between in real life.

Beautiful pictures ms piggy! I love your cardigan/coat! It looks like Chanel? It is a perfect match with the Jumping and your gorgeous EX-L shawl.
